Description
Started brewing in November 2005 using a 5BBL plant using the name The Great Orme Brewery Ltd, Welsh translation Bracdy Y Gogarth, and based at Y Bracdy, Nant-Y-Cywarch Farm, Glan Conwy, Colwyn Bay. At the beginning of 2019, the brewery rebranded and relocated to Mochdre where a 15BBL plant was used. Moved to Llandudno Junction in June 2025.

Chelmsford Beer Festival. Very deep brown beer, opaque. Suddy pale tan head. Light palate, pretty flat. Mildly tangy dark malts. Sublte unsweet chocolate. Mild dark fruits, touch of lacto. Mild dry finish.

From bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is roasted malty and light breadish caramelish and sweet. Bitter, light phenolic and roasted. Bitter and dry finish.

Cask at The Bell, Waltham St Lawrence. Pale amber with a thin white head; grapefruit aroma; sweet grapefruit flavour; and a pleasant, long-lasting, citrus bitterness to finish. Refreshing.

Bottled. Clear golden, small head. Fruity nose. Mid sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Soapy with some hay and wild strawberries. Medium bitterness. Fairly pleasant well hopped lager.

Cask at the Market Porter. Pours dark amber with a tan head. Aroma of smooth dark malt. Flavor is fresh fruit followed by darkish malt. Sweet and bitter together. Pretty nice.
