Bottle. A more or less clear one, dark golden in color and with a small, off-white head. The aroma is dominated by blueberries, unfortunately it’s in a quite artificial way. Some generic fruityness and a biscuity malt touch too. The flavor is pretty much the same, artificial blueberry and biscuity malts, but there’s also some piney, grassy hops and bitterness. Medium to thin on the palate, with a soft carbonation. Fake, grainy finish. Not actually bad this one, but way too artificial for my liking. 150609

Taste is medium sweet and medium bitter with a long malty, nutty and caramel finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. It’s more like a brown ale but still very nice.

On tap at the taproom. Lightly unclear in the glass, dark golden orange in color and with a small, off-white head. Grapefruit, pine cones and some malts in the aroma. The flavor has a lovely bitterness, grapefruit, pine cones and some malty notes in the back. Full body, soft carbonation, quite dry on the palate. Long, piney and bitter finish. Nice indeed. 150607

On tap at the taproom. A clear, dark amber beer with a minimal sized light beige head. The aroma has bread, caramel and a grassy, piney touch. Some diacetyl notes too. There’s a nice bitterness in the mouth, a soft carbonation level and it’s rather dry. Bread, grass, caramel and a touch of diacetyl in the flavor. A bit short finish. On tap at the taproom. Almost clear in the glass, dark amber in color and with a small, dense, beige head. Nutty, earthy, roasted aroma with a nice fruityness and a piney touch. Coffee hints. The flavor has a nice bitterness, it’s dry and medium to full bodied and a nice carbonation level. Roasted malts, bread, nuts and coffee hints. All lasting for a good while. Pretty wonderful this one, would go well with burger, cheese, pizza and lots of other good food. 150607

On tap at the taproom. A hazy, golden beer with a small, white head. Citrusy hops, cloves and a hint of banana and wheat in the aroma. Refreshing and quite dry on the palate, medium to full bodied and with a nice carbonation level. Bitterness, citrus fruit, cloves and some wheat in the flavor. Unusual to have a beer like this with Cascade hops, not like the German weissbiers, but it’s nice. 150507
