Draught at the brewery, 3/11/17.
Lightly-to-moderately hazy, pale, white-golden body topped by a large white head that falls rapidly to cover.
Very lactic in the nose though not metallic or dominated purely by twangy/punchy lactic acids. Quite a bit of lemon, light green hop character and strong wheat undertones with fresh house yeast and a good deal of fruity esters.
In the mouth it’s nicely tart, perhaps bordering on sour. Crisp and well-carbonated with a very strong, chewy wheat-laden texture and great fruitiness to match the strong lactic character. It tastes like a kettle sour, but the texture and malt/wheat flavor helps add some character. The lactic acidity is fairly well-integrated in to the other aspects, as well, and there is no flaw or alcohol noted.

Draft at Rovare Res. Served in branded glassware. Aroma is without a doubt dark spiced rum. Mild chocolate and nothing more.
Rum is forward almost overpowering. Base stout is dark chocolate, bitter chocolate finish. The body is medium plus without any alcohol heat. Rum lasting through the entire sip. Pretty easy to drink considering the amount of rum this stout absorbed.

Draught at Three Tides, Summer 2011, I believe?
Clear golden-to-light-amber with a touch of light chestnut and a light beige head atop that is small but shows moderate retention.
Sweet, succulent honey-like malts in the nose are garnished with hints of maple, caramel and pureed nutmeal. The emphasis remains on the base malts and they easily balance the strong herbal hop notes that are delicate, fresh and a perfect complement to the honey-caramel. Very clean, with no alcohol.
A lot of viennas go too far with the vienna/munich malts but this one has a perfect balance. The specialty malts add only a modest amount of toastiness, caramel and nuttiness, allowing the soft base malts reign over the palate, which as a result, is exquisitely soft. Moderate, tight carbonation and luscious herbal hops are light but provide just enough bitterness and spice to keep the finish crisp and bright. Just a phenomenal rendition, unsurprisingly. Marshall Wharf really does a knock-out job with the traditional German styles.

Can drunk 7/2/16 at Three Tides.
High clarity with some light haze to this deep golden-brass bodied beer. White head atop is large and well-retained.
What a strange hop. Been a LONG time since I’ve had a single hopped palisade beer....lemon and lime are light in the nose with a motueka-like earthy/leafiness. Some sugary-lemon notes are strange and slightly out of place, though seem to be joined by a softer, less sugary orange sherbet note. Some light nips of pine are notable throughout the nose while more citrus and soft spiciness linger. No alcohol or flaw. Malts are sparse and show biscuit/cracker.
Soft, malty texture with high carbonation, fairly engaging. Moderate to moderately-high bitterness with tons of key lime, lime zest and more citrus. Biscuity malts divulge light honey; generally enough to balance, while there’s still a weird sugary-lemon character on the finish. Woodiness and light pine linger as well with no alcohol or flaw. WEIRD hop.

Draught at the brewery since debut, most recently 7/2/16.
Clear, flaxen-gold with a thin white head atop showing moderate to moderately low retention.
Grains and light cereals in the nose also allow a strong minerality as well as very light, delicate, herbal/peppery hops. Dabs of light honey dot the nose as well and there is no flaw or alcohol.
Moderate, tight carbonation spurs on a lightly grainy texture (pleasantly so) with notes of honey, baguette and hoppy herbs. Fruitiness is pretty minimal but still there. Very dry and crisp on the finish. Very solid kolsch. Very traditional and very drinkable.

Pint at the brewey, 7/2/16.
Bright amber-cherry hued beer with high clarity (little bit of chill-haze) and a beige head with moderate to moderately strong retention.
Tons of bright, varied fruitiness in the nose ranging from strawberry-apple to light chery and nectarine. Some spicy hop notes are light and pleasant while the amber malts add a touch of iced tea but are also buttressed by softer base malts. Some very light cream-of-wheat-like character on the finish with tons of fruitiness lingering.
Slick-to-lightly-soft ranges the texture, with ample, engaging carbonation and a good attenuation providing plentiful esters. No heavy breadiness from the medium malts and a dry wheat-like flavor on the finish alongside delicate, spicy/herbal hop notes. Excellently drinkable and well-made.
