Crowler thanks to Dak! Pours opaque black, medium creamy brown head, good lacing. Aroma is roasty, molasses, cocoa, anise, hints of smoke. Flavor is medium sweet, light plus bitter, loads of chocolate, molasses and anise, a bit of pepper heat on the finish, touch of smokiness. Full body, creamy mouthfeel. Really solid.

Draft at the brewpub in Gilbert, Arizona. The pour is cloudy yellow, with a well formed ½ inch white head. The aroma is tart citrus lemon along with fresh cereal bread malt. The taste is the tart lemon of the nose, and also picks up a nice general fruit flavor, grain notes and finishes almost on the sour side of tartness. The palate is light bodied, active carbonation and a dry tart finish. Solid.

Draft at the brewpub in Gilbert, Arizona. The pour is a slight haze golden orange with a smaliish foamy white head. The aroma is bright citrus hop right away, touch of resin, fresh mandarin fruit and a biscuit malt to balance out the hop and fruit punch. The taste is the citrus hops, paired with the semi sweet mandarin orange fruit, finishes with some of the resin grass. The malt is present and like the nose balances out the hop. The palate is medium bodied with active carbonation and a dry clean finish. Fun version of an excellent IPA.

Modern Times Festival of Funk. Thanks guys! It pours a rich orange color with a massive frothy white head. The aroma has tons of pineapple, mango, blueberry and some hints of peppery/phenolic brett. The flavor is the same. Massively fruity and background hints of phenols and spice/pepper. The mouth feel is full, but not malty. The hops take center stage with the brett character in the background and subdued. Great stuff.

On tap at the Modern Times Festival of Funk. It pours a hazy purple color with an off white head. The aroma has some great big, sweet cherry/raspberry notes. The flavor is full with sweet tarts and raspberry jam. Light to medium tartness. Lots of fruity sweetness, and not a lot of funk. It was ok by me because the raspberry character was out of this world. A really fun beer.

Draft at Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2014 - Session 3. Pours clearish pink with a fluffy, white head. Tasty, with some simple and sugary wheat. A little musty. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet finish, with more wheat, a little yeast, dough. Fairly one-dimensional, but enjoyable.

Draft at Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2014 - Session 2. Pours hazy, pale yellow with a creamy, white head. Aside from the appearance, this beer is wretched. The nose holds poo, old lemon and stomach bile. Light sweet flavour, funky, with notes of poo, cheese, puke. Light bodied with average carbonation. Finishes with further notes of cheese, bile, puke. Ugh, horrible. Seems like a nasty butyric acid infection has ruined this one.

Draught@CBC2015. Pale amber colour, small head. Aroma is floral, wooden, mild orange and zesty notes. Flavour is fruity, floral, sour wood, toffeeish and ends quite bitter and also zesty. Kind of sweetish sour, but a bit messy as for the flavour

Keg at RB Best Festival, 31/01/16. Hazed orange amber with a decent off white covering. Nose is dank hop, pine needle, subtle brett pangs, toasted bread, tangerine. Taste comprises on the turn melon, orange pith, light tropicana tarteness, apricot, pinch of brett. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a juicy hop wash. Decent... one of the better Brett IPA’s I’ve had ... good balance.
