Cask (gravity) @ Nottingham Robin Hood Beer Festival (2014), Nottingham Castle, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, England NG1 6EL. [ As Totally Brewed The Simcoe Kid ].Clear medium to dark orange amber color with a average to large, frothy and open, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white silver head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, toasted, weka, UK yeast, roasted notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, fruity malt and hops, fruity, woody hops, hop bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20141009]

[ As Totally Brewed 4 Hopmen Of The Apocalypse ].Clear medium orange yellow color with a average, open and frothy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted - caramel, pale malt, fruity malt, light moderate hoppy, fruity hops. Flavor is moderate sweet and moderate to light heavy bitter with a long duration, fruity hops, minerals, sweet malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20141009]

Tried at the Threekingham Beer a Festival 2015. Deep almost black colour an beige head. Aroma is malt and burnt citrus caramel with fruit. Taste us fruity with a bitter finish.

Gravity dispense at Craft 100 ,CBC Clapham, 02/04/15. Very lightly hazed golden amber topped with moderate off white spotting. Nose is malty, dark fruit peel, light must, wood. Taste comprises melon, orange, pale malt, straw, caramel. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. So so offering.

Gravity dispense at Craft 100 ,CBC Clapham, 02/04/15. Lightly hazed pale golden topped with a moderate off white swirl. Nose is orange pith, citric peel, straw, light earthy hops. Taste comprises light pine, tangerine, straw, melon. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent enough hoppy pale.

Cask @ Old Gate, Hebden Bridge. Copper with a creamy head. Has a fair amount of English fruits with a slightly stewed taste as well as a smoothness in its texture

Cask at the Purple Turtle, Reading. Enjoyed whilst chilling with friends on the terrace in the surprisingly hot spring sunshine. Pale amber with a moderate white head and a light sparkle. Lemony hops overlay warm friendly malts with a hint of pepper. Simple, but mellow and well balanced. Somehow it’s a very welcoming and relaxing beer that reminds me of many of the beers from XT brewery. Nice one.

500ml bottle from real ale store, Newark. Deep hazy golden brown, with very little head. Aroma has hoppy grapefruit and tropical fruit. Taste has a strong bitter finish.
