Description
PINTA – We brew from the very first day of craft revolution in Poland!
Our great journey started on 28th of March 2011, when we brewed our first batch of „Atak Chmielu” („Attack of the Hops”) – first commercial American IPA in Poland.
Since that day we are still brewing new ales, lagers, sahti and sour beers. Alone or in collaboration with our friends from Polish and foreign breweries.
Whilst last five years we’ve produced beers in more than 60 styles, like: Imperial IPA, Sahti, Sticke Alt, Irish Red Ale, Imperial Witbier, Extra Special Bitter (ESB), Rauchbock, Grodziskie, American IPA, Weizenbock, Oatmeal Stout, Schwarzbier, Scottish Ale, Vienna Lager, Rauchbier, Pumpkin Ale, Rice IPA, Biere de Garde, Imperial Baltic Porter, New Zealand Lager and many, many more!
In 2015 we’ve launched brand new series of sour beers. It all started with rye sour ale called Kwas Alfa, brewed with Tobias Emil Jensen from Danish To Øl brewery.
We were also the first Polish brewery which crossed the border and brewed international collaborative beer outside Poland. That’s how we’ve produced Lublin to Dublin – stout brewed in Dublin, Ireland by Pinta and O’Hara’s breweries in 2014. In 2015 we’ve made collaboration with French Brasserie du Pays Flamand and Danish To Øl mentioned before. Autumn of 2015 bring another innovation in Polish craft. We are the first Polish brewery which brewed a beer in the different continent – with Japanese Baird Brewing Co.
You can be sure that we use all our experience and knowledge to give you the best beers we can afford! We still improve our skills and we are not afraid to make experiments. We love travels – even those furthest. We always bring a lot of the best inspirations from other countries and we are trying to share them with you, creating the best beers we can.

Aromat mocno chmielony, palony slod, czekolada bardzo gozka. Piwo to jest dla mnie dziwne bo raczej zblizone do Black IPA niz do portera baltyckiego, ewentualnie do imperialnego. Jest tu maslana slodowosc, goraca gozka czekolada, wytrawna koncowka choc sprawia wrazenie slodkiego podczas picia no i piana bardzo wielka, ciemno zolta. Kolor piwa ciemno brazowy z bordowym refleksem. Wysoko odfermentowane piwo tresciwe i smaczne. Ale chmiele amerykanskie mysle ze tu sie niezbyt nadaja. Zbyt dominuja a w tym gatunku tak nie powinno byc. Minus za cene bo to jak na razie najdrozsze polskie piwo.

Bottle. Aroma: quite intensive; resin, wood, roasty, dough - quite balanced and less pronounced than it’s usual for black IPA. Black colour, brown head which lasts quite long. Medium bitterness that becomes heavy and quite harsh during drinking. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. At the beginning it has a delicate creamy feel, which I guess comes from rye. After drinking more, finish is unpleasant, harsh and bitter. Not my cup of tea.

Bottle. Aroma: clove, banana, lemon. Hazy, orange turning to light brown, minimal head. Light bitterness, but higher than the one typical for hefeweizen; medium sweetness, lightly sour. Full body, sticky, lively carbonation, bitter finish. Something like ’a hefeweizen on steroids’: more body, more bitterness.

Bottled 500ml. -Cloudy orange/golden coloured, minimal head, fruity yeasty nose. Very sweet, light spicy, yeasty and caramel drops with quite strong sugary notes in the finish. Low carbonation.

Bottled 500ml. -Dark amber (almost brown) coloured, small to medium sized off-white head, caramel nose with a whiff of smoke. Light roasted malt, smoke and caramel with some sweetness in rather short finish. Not bad at all.

Bottle @ weekly tasting shared by Joes. Clear reddish color, small white to off - white head. Smell malts, lightly hops, sweetness. Taste malts, hops, moderately sweet, moderately bitter. Past the best before date, so probably a bit old, no wonder hops have faded a bit. Still quite decent though. Worth a try. Medium body, low to medium carbonation.

Bottle, 7.9%. CO2 aroma, yeast and perhaps coriander. Cloudy, almost muddy amber colour. Unstable, fizzy white head. The flavour is sweet and yeasty. Sugary finish with baking yeast. It does taste of Sahti (to my Sahti-untrained tastebuds). Too much like a fat and sweet Hefeweizen. Not a favourite style of mine, but this one is not too bad.

Draught. Aroma: citrus, yeast; actually not much pumpkin. Thick, but small head. Light sweetness, light bitterness, but generally it’s bitterness what dominates in this beer. Soft carbonation, medium body. It’s surprising, but tastes a bit like a hefeweizen. Genrally - good beer.
