Growler shared at chriso’s pre-Christmas tasting. Pours perfectly clear gold with a frothy white head. Pleasant aroma with semi-ripe citrus, orange, tangerine, some grass. Light-medium sweet flavor with dry, pale bread, some grass and leaves, citrus rind. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Finishes with light grassy bitterness, crispy pale bread, mild leaves, a bit of rind. Not bad.

Location: Draft at Blind Tiger, 3/26/14
Aroma: The nose is British hops, some grass, floral and herbal notes, and some spice
Appearance: It pours a hazy orange color with a small off-white head and light lace
Flavor: Similar flavor, with herbal and spice hops mostly, fairly minimal sweetness
Palate: This one has a medium body, a tingly feel, lively carbonation, and a dry finish
Overall Impression: Thought this was a decent example of a British style IPA. It isn't a great one, but it is a plenty drinkable beer.

Thanks to whomever added this brew to database. Had at lunch at the excellent Jones Wood Foundry (amazing fish and chips). Pours nice orange with pine nose. Tastes of grapefruit and line, caramel, and some crackers. Crisp medium bodied. Delightful little ipa

Aroma: The aroma is roasted malts and burnt malts, spice, chocolate, and some booze
Appearance: It pours a dark brown-black color, with a small-to-average brown head and lace
Flavor: The taste is much the same, roasted and burnt malts, spice, and a little sweetness
Palate: The body is medium-full, it has a somewhat creamy feel, and a bit of an ABV burn too
Overall Impression: I found this one to be a pretty solid Imperial Stout. This is certainly a beer that is worth trying. Interesting stuff. Give this one a shot.

Sample at Ginger Man NYC. Brownish-black pour with a medium foamy beige head that diminishes gradually. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate and coffee. Medium to full body with a roasty character of malt and coffee, along with some dark chocolate. The finish is espresso and malt. Pretty good overall.

Sample at Rattle N Hum. The beer pours a hazy golden color with a medium white head that burns away steadily. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of wheat, spices and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of citrus, spiced wheat and mild grassy hops. The finish is sweet with a lemony and spicy aftertaste. Decent overall.

Keg at the Ginger Man, NYC, 23/11/13. Clear amber with reddish hues and a good sized light beige head that retains wekk - this beer looks the absolute bollocks ! Nose is toffee, light spice, dark fruit tang, sugars. Taste comprises toffee, dark fruits, light spice, caramel fudge, light vanilla notes, nutty. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, fruit tang in the finale. Ok stuff, looks great, but not a hughe amount of depth to the flavours for 6.8%.
