A nice version of this beer, which changes a lot. Malty and lacking all hop bitterness to keep it clean. Sk lb

Certainly not authentic. Not much fresh hop aroma to speak of. Body and taste are acrid. Sk lb variety pack

473ml can. Pours a hazy gold-yellow with yeast particles that sink to the bottom and a medium, foamy, long lasting, white head that leaves soapy lacing. Mild, fruity aroma of bready pale malt, orange, grapefruit, earthy yeast and light piney hops. Sweet fruity flavour of bready pale malt, orange, grapefruit, mango, pineapple, earthy yeast and oats in a crisp, dry, bitter, piney hop finish. Light to medium body with an oily texture and average carbonation. Not bad.

355mL bottle, pours jet black with a deep dark brown head. Aroma brings out lots of sludgy roasted malt and gentle tart cherries. Flavour reveals lots of tart dark cherries resting atop a big roasted malt backbone. Quite roasty and somewhat hoppy underneath, also a bit sludgy. The cherries are a pleasant addition. The base beer is not high-quality enough though to elevate it. Good beer though.

355mL bottle, pours a clear copper with a medium off-white head - looks nothing like a hef. Aroma is much more hef-like, with lots of clove, soft wheaty notes, a little banana, and coriander. Flavour is fairly estery, with a touch of tart fruits, banana, a touch of coriander, clove and dry wheaty notes. Soft, tart and estery. Not sure what this is supposed to be, but it's not my thing.

355mL bottle, pours jet black with a small light brown head. Nose is full of charcoal, roasted malt, and some dark cocoa. Flavour is rich and sludgy, with lots of roasted, sludgy charcoal, dark cocoa, and some earthy notes. ABV is not felt at all, but it's a bit too murky. Good stuff.

355mL bottle, pours black with a small beige head. Aroma is quite rich, with vanilla and chocolate galore — smells delightful. Flavour is loaded with chocolate and vanilla in wonderful unison, like a vanilla-tinged not chocolate. There's a touch of cayenne that becomes more pronounced as you dig into this more. Not that rich, as it's not quite in imperial territory. But it sure is chocolatey. Delicious.

355mL bottle, pours a cloudy dark muddy orange with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out lots of bready caramel malt, a sort of English malt character, and old hops. Flavour is much the same, with a very old school hop expression — not sure if the hops are actually old or it's the brewing method — along with lots of bready and caramely malt. Very malt-forward with the old hops in back. It's alright, but not what I want from a west coast IPA in 2020.

Has a harsh astringency, smooth malt body, but it can’t save it from it’s own terrible bitterness. Prairie Sun saskatoon. (Dec 2019 3.0) This version is pretty solid. Super clear and quite lively. Prairie sun ak

More like a thin porter or strong mild. But the flavor is a bit sour from a poor fermentation. Tastes like a homebrew. Paddock wood saskatoon
