Can from the lcbo. Orange pours, slightly hazy, medium white head. Aroma is quite floral, pine resin, juniper and citrus up front. Mouth feel is crisp and refreshing with a great carb. Finish is lightly bitter, crisp and clean, lots of floral grasses and fruit.

Can from the lcbo. Slightly hazy yellow pour, with a medium white head. Aroma is orange Creamsicle, tea, and floral hops cones. Mouth feel is full, carb is soft. Finish is lightly bitter. Floral hops in the end with a creamy vanilla citrus meld going on. Decent.

Can from the lcbo. Pours a cloud yellow, with a large white head. Run of the mill citrus and pine, some lemon zest and hints of white grapefruit. Solid mouth feel, good carb. Pithy bitter finish, light soapiness, rounded out by pine resins.

On tap at the Hardrock 42 in Sudbury. Hazy golden pour, big white head. Aroma is quite grassy with alot of sharp citrus zest and oil. Lively carb, crisp, clean mouth feel. Finish is very zesty, loads of fresh cut grass, herbal tea, green tea, really crisp and refreshing. Medium bitterness, nice stuff.

Black pour, with a medium beige head. Aroma is pretty much just cough syrup. As it warms some sweet chocolate comes through with some raspberry jam, and light roast. Body and mouth feel are solid. Finish is again quite sweet, more cough syrup and raspberry jam. This isn’t great, there is no way this raspberry flavour is real, it’s obviously artificial, the end is cloying, and lacks much character. A real mess.

On tap at session muskoka. Aroma is all coconut with light sweet roast and cocoa. Lightly toasted malts, sweet burnt brown sugar and all of this is covered in a sweet thick blanket of coconut. Not bad but over powering,

Growler from the lcbo. Deep brown pour, while a light reddish hue that comes through. Aroma is incredibly earthy, and grassy. Light nuttiness, light pine, brown sugar, dark caramel cereals. The finish is totally different. It finishes medium to high on the bitterness with a strong lemon zest kick and some resinous pine.

Sharp cereal nose with some pungent, grass, Czech saaz. Mouth feel is perfect, carb is spot on. Crisp, refreshing, and very floral. This is impressive. Quite nice, well balanced, a great pils.

Nice ruby pour, off white head. Very fruity phenols, nutty malts, and quite bready. Some solid hopping. Quite grassy, and pungent. Reminds me a lot of a boozy English strong ale. Lots it pungent grassy hops, and boozy malts.

Can from the lcbo. Dark amber, big almost beige head. Lots of biscuity malts, sweet bread, boozy, sherry notes. Sticky, resinous pine notes, hints of candied citrus peel. Very sweet, and boozy over the top beer. Pretty messy if you as me. This is a cross between a Barley wine and a double ipa, leaning towards Barley wine. Medium bitterness, super sweet, malty, slightly nutty finish with alot of resinous pine. Not great, but leaps and bounds above the previous incarnation.
