330ml bottle from the brewer. Pours hazy gold, good white head. Aroma is lemon and lime citrus. Taste is smooth and beautifully balanced tropical citrus flavours, hugging the tastebuds with a soothingly robust hoppiness. Sweet, juicy mango reveals itself on subsequent sips with a leafy lime flair. A wonderful, drinkable DIPA.

Bottle at home in London - picked up at the Bottle Shop, Bermondsey. Pours clear gold with a moderate, frothy white head. Quite a dank and decadent aroma, with lots of ripe mango and papaya, some orange, pee, a little melon. Medium to heavy sweet flavor with sturdy pale malt sugars, lots of plump and gooey tropical fruits, some mango smoothy, more papaya, melon, bataloupe, orange and tangerine, mild alcohol, just a bit of piney bitterness. Full bodied with fine to average carbonation. Warming finish gooey, sticky and resinous, with tons more ripe fruits, buckets of papaya and pineapple, mango, booze, pale bread, pine, hints of grapefruit, tangerine, a little meringue. Another leviathan here from Cloudwater. The hop character in this is intense; it’s a remarkably juicy beer. The booze is definitely there, but there’s also ample sweetness that helps it all go down. It could be a little drier, though. As it stands, this beer is outstanding. With just a little more cohesion, it would be truly world-class.

Bottle. Nose is lime, mango, lychee, pineapple, juicy fresh and very appealing. Taste is surprisingly malty for a DIPA, leading to a rounded and sweet, mango, honey, peach, flavour with lots of lychee. The second sip brings more pine resin and a light cream flavour. The finish is boozy and peppery. The finish while pleasent isn’t lasting and the beer seems a little fleeting compared to the very best DIPA A very nice, beer which wears it’s strength well. It’s a strange beer from Cloudwater, most of their range is unbalanced, with too much bitterness, and yet the DIPA where you would expect lots of bitterness, is very balanced and focuses on the fruit to the extent it’s almost an American Pale..

330ml bottle @ Chez Sophie, Shrewsbury. Pours black, small tan head. Aroma is dark malts and pine. Taste is remarkably smooth and light for the ABV. Dark malts, charcoal, chocolate all wafting about with some light pine hop circling over the top. Good.

330ml bottle from Beer Gonzo. Pours hazy gold, thin white head. Aroma is initial lemon curd / meringue that dissipates. Taste is crisp yet smooth, with light pineapple & lemon curd. Sticky finish. Very light sour character behind that lovely fruitiness. Good refreshing sour.

Bottle at home, 27th February 16. Pours a thin black beer, slight head. Aroma is vanilla, cocoa, Sorachi hop. Taste is rich, but not overly sweet, the vanilla shines and the use of Sorachi in the porter, makes this different. Enjoyable

Cask at the Banging Hat. As "winter range bitter". Pours clear gold with a thick white head. Aromas of nutty malt. Taste is sweet, malty. Light bitter finish. Bargainous.
