Impressed with a mug of this on tap at the bocktown. barely any aroma, but what exists is a little metallic. Slightly darker than pale ale. A little more brown. Has some tartness in it fer sure. Leather at times. good co2. there is a slight bitterness that develops as the session continues. quite tasty fer sure, easy to like. enjoyed this brew and the finish was quite acceptable as well. good overall regional rate beer experience.

Draft at Bocktown - Robinson. Pours a clear dark red color with a medium sized creamy head. Good head retention. Aroma of tart berries, citrus, caramel. The taste is caramel, cranberries, plum, very faint chocolate. Medium bodied. Pretty much seems like a fruit beer to me.

On tap at the Bocktown Robinson, nice place. Nice and dark. Thin head. Wheaty aroma with a tad of stouty in there. Bubble gum on the olfactory. Some smell of bananas too. Very mild on the tongue. Friendly and easy. Yes, quite interesting, glad I had a chance to taste this. Fun and like able. Mild brew. Liked this stuff. Mild clove, I don’t care for cloves ina brew but this is ok to an extnent.

Nice chocolate and lots of vanilla here. Pours nice and black with some lacing and some head. Nice dark chocolate aroma. Thick consistency. Good bitterness. Nice stuff. Thanks to Sammy.

Bomber from barley and hops. Pours a dark copper color with a large white head. A sweet caramel nose. A odd sweet flavor of candy, caramel, rye. Earthy. Ok. Butter maybe.

Dark brick red with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, melted caramel, chocolate. Syrupy body. Flavor is toasted malts, chocolate, caramel, malts, dark fruit. Solid brew and nice for the cold weather.

On tap at the house of 1000. Not up too snuff with the rest of the penn beers. Yes, quite unique I guess for penn’s first spicey herb veggie style BS. Somewhat spicey aroma from the start. I’d like to see a brewery discription of this stuff. Dirt for a backbone. Well behaved but so strange. Makes me think of well water I drank in the country park as a kid. Slaggy. A little dull n the finish. Thought it would be sweeter considering the name. Perhaps a little dissapointing.

12 ounce bottle. Dark reddish brown color. Small beige head disappears immediately. Faint roasted malt aroma hints at cinnamon and allspice. Roasted malt flavor with notes of currants and toasted nuts. Flavors develop as brew warms up. Some fruity citrus hops in finish. Definately improves at about 55 degrees.
