Description
Labatt has deep roots in Canada stemming from its founder John Kinder. In 1847, a little more than a decade after arriving in London, Ontario from Ireland, John Kinder Labatt purchased London's Simcoe Street brewery in partnership with Samuel Eccles and by 1855 had become the brewery's sole proprietor. The brewery was later renamed John Labatt's Brewery, marking the beginning of one of Canada's largest and most successful companies.

In 1995, it was purchased by Belgian brewer Interbrew. Labatt is now part of the new company, Anheuser-Busch InBev (AB InBev).

Ha, a friend brought one over as a joke, and he figured i could get a rating out of it. Same ol’ grainy, corny nose. Cooked vegetal flavour, some slight hops..........meh, sale old labatt. I guess for a non-alcoholic beer it aint bad, but seriously.........its just a blue without the booze. gets a .5 to match the alcohol content!

Ah, good old 50. The staple "old man" beer. I had this on tap as a joke about 2 months ago. Meh nothing to write home about, you’ve had one labatt or molson lager, you’ve had them all.

as far as plae lagers go, this actually has some flavour! Imagine that!
Some sweet malt notes, and a touch of hops, dont get me wrong, it’s still a Labatt product, and thats abundantly clear, but it’s not bad, and drinkable.

HA, the review before me dissed Molson and this is a Labatt product. Get your research right buddy. That review before mine is probably the best thing associated with this beer. Just plain AWFUL!
