Bottle @ home. Deep dark brown with a red hue, off white head. Aroma of hops, yeast, caramel and roasted malts. Flavour is yeast, hops, roasted malts, some coffee and some dark fruits. Bitter roasted finish with sweet undertone. Medium bodied. Very nice.

Bottle. Frothy white excellent fully lasting head. Dark yellow colour. Light malty heavy hoppy aroma. Strong citrus/lemon notes. Moderate bitter flavor. Harsh unpleasent bitter finish. Oily palate.

Bottled at Kerstbierfestival 2007. A brown beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet spicy with light notes of cinnamon. The flavor is sweet spicy - primarily cinnamon and cloves. The finish is dry.

75cl bottle. Pours unclear amber with a creamy white head & lacings. Nose is spicy & yeasty. Medium palate & mouthfeel. Overall quite spicy & herbal with some hoppy notes. Little citric & metallic. Enjoyable - yet still very forgettable!

Draft at Kerstbierfestival 2007. A very dark brown beer with a lazing tan head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of spice - especially cloves and coriander and a light acidic note of coffee. The flavor is sweet with notes of coffee, malt, and caramel, leading to a dry roasted malty finish. Lovely.

33cl @ VinensVerden, Odense. Nearly black with a creamy head. Roasted malts, coffee mainly, With a vague hint of dark fruits. Medium bodied. Very drinkable & well made stout! Fine bitterness in the end! Re-rate okt 14. Ashy, roasted, coffee and cigarette smoke. And this yeast.. House De La senne flavor. For a 4.5 stout world class. No question! 3.4-3.8

Bottled at Akkurat, Stockholm. Mahogany colour, rocky head. Perfumy floral nose with candy sugar and prunes. Bittersweet with clean mouthfeel and medium-full body. Realy hoppy with bitter almond and marzipan, salty bitter finish. Elegance is lost in the quest for power.

(Bottle, Akkurat, Stockholm, 10 Oct 2008) Golden colour, hazy, with huge white head. Tart, fruity nose with horse blanket, barn, green apples and old socks. Tart, fruity taste with notes of green apples, hay, distinct lambic flavours and a harsh, dry bitterness in a spicy, long finish. Excellent beer, combining the spicy, earthy notes of the saison style with the tart, dry notes of the lambic. Lovely beer!
