mells like apple skins, peaches. Very light nose, like champagne and it uses champagne yeast. Looks like apple juice. The mouth is very light. Low carbonation apple skins, slightly tannic with some apricots. Low carbonation. Warming finish. Hides booze well in the mouth though. Doesn’t particularly remind me of beer but decent enough.

very heady fresh hoppy nose with good biscuit character. Cloudy IPA. Honestly reminds me of a NE IPA in the nose and look. Hugely frageremt. Mouth is a bit thinner, slightly sour, maybe the rice mess it’s it. Not as astonishing as the nose, but still good stuff. Modest bitter finish

basically I had this side by side with the mugitaro at the brewery and felt as a guy who has probably tried 7000+ different beers, I could barley tell the difference with the mugitaro. If it’s lost on me then how do other people tell the difference? Or does the brewery really care? (mouth feel was slightly weaker)

pale golden color. Lots of cereal notes with saaz hops. Soft mouth feel almost creamy like texture, the hops are a bit too subdued. Bitterness isn’t overly pronounced at the end. It’s ok.

Medium amber color. Incredible display of carbonation. Frothy white head. Very clean minernally nose. I drank this fresh at the brewery and I can’t say it had fantastic depth, but it was malt focused, clean, showed some orange and bread notes. Although 6.5% it was too light body. Easy drinking and focused on the masses. Not bad

On tap at Bungalow, Kyoto. Pours orange with medium white head. Citrus, hoppy, fruity, malty. Sweetish, with bitter finish. Medium bodied. Decent.

Tap at CBM Koenji. clear orange with lace and some bubbles. Smoky nose, oranges, some chocolate, raisin, plums. Interesting. Young and a bit rough flavor. Strong and boozy, with a bitter, harsh finish. Needs time, though interesting and shows potential.

Tap at CBM Koenji. Pale gold, clear, with a fine low head. Nose is grapefruit, wheat, tropical fruit. Nice dry fruity flavor, crackers, citrus, some tropical fruit. Crisp carbonation.
