Bottle at the Romantic Village. Amber coloured, small off-white head. Aroma is fruity, slightly floral, sweet, bit of plastic but not too off-putting. Taste is good, sweet, bit of booze, solid malty sweetness. Maybe the best of the day but not much competition.

Tap at Romatic Village. This is apparently the unfiltered version of the Mugijiro. Tasted a little bit better I have to say. Clear blond, small white head. Aroma is grainy, bit of hop. Tastes alright, nice creamy sweetness, bit like vanilla ice cream. Slight bitterness.

Tap at the Romantic Village. Blond coloured. Aroma is light creaminess, bit of hops and grain. Taste similar, slight sweetness, wheaty. Alright. Light on interesting-ness, but nowhere near undrinkable.

Tap at the Romantic Village. Light amber, creamy off-white head. Aroma is very doughy, bit sweet, something fruity and malty. Taste is interesting, bit of sweetness, something spicy, malty. Maybe falling between two stools. Alright again, but not so exciting (again).

Bottle from the brewery. Golden brown colour, small golden head. Aroma is not so strong. Aroma is malty, slight hoppiness, toffee, slightly plastic like. Taste is malty, quite sweet, little bit of citrus in there, quite boozy. Like bit of butter too. It's alright, and maybe more interesting than most of their beers, but still their godfather is the best one they have in my opinion.

Tap at Hachi. Light golden amber colour, creamy white head. Aroma is boozy, bit of plastic, malty touch. Quite nice though. Taste is quite creamy, with bit of boozy sweetness hiding in the background. Further down booze rears its head. Not much bitterness at all but pretty easy drinking. Sweetness is quite candy like. Doesn't seem very lager like or cascade like, but it's better than some of their other beers for me.

Bottle from the brewery. Light amber colour with small white head which fades quite quickly. Aroma is booze, bit of sticky toffee or caramel and a strange fruitiness. Taste is ok, bit of spice, caramel malt, light fruitiness, bit vegetal as well. Quite strange but not unpleasant. Won't rush for another though.

Bottle from a Nikko tourist shop. Different ABV to their regular IPA and tastes different too. Slight flemish-style sourness. Aroma is a bit fruity, bit sweet and bit floral. Taste has the strange sourness, light bitterness and is quite yeasty. Fruitiness is definitely in the lemon/citrus field. It's quite nice in an unusual way, but maybe not what they were aiming for, judging by their other beers.
