Bottle at home. Opaque dark brown to black color, medium sized light brown colored head that diminishes fairly quickly. Aroma and flavor are malts, roasted malts, chocolate, sweetish a bit, whiskey, chocolate bitters as well, distant liquorice. Pleasant quite full body, velvety texture, soft carbonation. Lovely beer.

Oak and caramel. Tangerine peel. Dark brown/maroon pour without much head. In the mouth some booze, hazelnut. Tap at Dominion.

Dark brown. Thin head. Has a nice fruity accent, light fruit and nice whiskey. On the palate, it's got a nice sweetness, light fig, some ancho, soft body. Rounded. Good whiskey, beautiful balance, almost a honeyish note.

12 oz. bottle, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma is loaded with dark dried fruits, medium roast, a touch of bourbon, no notice of the chilis. Flavour is wonderfully complex and cohesive, with lots of fig, a really lovely but gentle ancho chili, moderate bourbon, medium roast, and some dark roast. That ancho really works beautifully as a subtly, combining with the bourbon, roast and fig. This is fantastic.

12oz @ 🏡 shared with Phill.
Aroma: sweet, roasty, coconut and vanilla, a bit spicy.
Taste: along the same lines, a bit unbalanced to me in terms of connection of sweetness and bitterness.
Overall: decent, but not good enough for my taste anymore.

12 oz boxed bottle. Aroma is chocolaty, crème brûlée, vanilla, toffee, bourbon, tobacco, overripe dark fruit, wet stone. Pours very dark brown to black with an immediately collapsing beige head. Taste is bittersweet with chocolaty, bourbon barrel kissed toffee tinged deliciousness.
