Description
Tatamagouche's very own organic craft brewery!

Many years ago, a two-headed calf came to Tatamagouche. We think it's no coincidence that he happened to show up here. After all, Tatamagouche is a place of many strange and wonderful things. It's a little town with big ideas. A town that's always looking forward while still keeping an eye on the past. This two-headed place is our home and it inspired us to make good beer for good people. Beer that just happens to be a mix of the traditional and the unexpected.

We are the Tatamagouche Brewing Company.
Let's raise a glass to Pure Tatamagoodness.

473mL can, pours a clear dark amber with a medium beige head. Aroma has a dry bready malt character upfront, with a touch of caramel and minimal resinous hops. Flavour is much the same, with a dry—almost English—bready malt character, backed by gentle resinous hops. Dry, nice malt character. Pleasant amber.

355mL can, pours a clear pale golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma has gentle saline, a hint of citrus, and soft wheaty notes. Flavour has gentle lacto, saline, a touch of citrus, and dry wheaty notes. There’s very subtle notice of the tequila barrels if one looks for it. Reasonably made if a bit muddled.

473mL can, pours a clear deep dark amber with a medium beige head. Aroma is relatively dry and quite malty, with toasted dry caramel and bready malt. Flavour is low on the bitterness, with plenty of dry caramel and English bready malt. Finishes lightly dry and bready. Decent for what it is but unexciting.

355mL can, pours a hazy blonde with a medium white head. Aroma is full of brett, with plenty of mature brett showing up and dominating. 7.1/10 Appearance 6 Aroma 7 Flavor 7 Texture 8 Overall 7.5
355mL can, pours an opaque mango juice colour with a medium white head. Aroma is full of juicy guava, plenty of stone fruit pith, lacto, and soft wheaty notes. Flavour is fruity and yet dry, with tons of fermented out guava, light tartness, wheat, snd a touch of lacto. Love the incorporation of the guava and how it’s totally fermented out. Solid.

7.4/10 Appearance 7 Aroma 7 Flavor 7.5 Texture 8 Overall 7.5
355mL can, pours a clear pale blonde, almost no head. Nose smells like a legit Berliner, with soft wheaty notes, a touch of lacto, and some citrus. Flavour reveals more of the red wine, with a nice tannic character, gentle lacto, soft wheaty notes, and tart citrus. Finishes bright, tart citrusy, and tannic. Really well-brewed and good idea to age this in red wine barrels.

7/10 Appearance 7 Aroma 7 Flavor 7 Texture 7 Overall 7
473mL can, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Nose is more tropical than a typical Nelson expression, with stone fruits, melon, and some citrusy hops. Flavour is bright and juicy, with juicy stone fruits, some citrusy hoppy bitterness, and a reasonably crisp biscuity malt finish. Quite juicy for the style, less pronounced on hoppy bitterness. Very good.

473mL can. Pours clear pale gold with a white head. Bright and fruity nose with some biscuit malts, melon, fairly tropical. Flavour has crisp malts, lots of fruity hops, some citrus peels, and a clean bitter finish. The hop expression is clean, but could be more vibrant. Nicely done.
