Black with a brown head - Dark malt aroma - Dark malt body with some tones of coffee and chocolate with wood notes and bourbon - The dark malt flavours goes into the finish with wood barrel and some alcohol heat - This was good

Bouteille 750ml. Couleur jaune terne voilée, mousse blanche fuyante. Arôme sauvage, vineux, abricot, fermier. Goût de levures sauvages, acidité moyenne-faible, boisé. Carbonatation moyenne, corps moyen.

Clear dark brown beer, small creamy dense beige head, stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: malty nose up front, sweet, raisins, bit oxidized, some chocolate. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: bit roasted, some chocolate, caramel, malty, soft oxidative notes, bitter hops, hint of vanilla. Aftertaste: sweet touch, caramel malts, hoppy touch, some dried fruits, nice roast, some alcohol lingering in the finish.

Aromes de mie de pain bien fraiche sur fond céréalier en olfactif. Légers houblons épicés. De couleur jaune doré avec un léger trouble et une bonne mousse rocailleuse qui persiste bien. En bouche les malts reflètent le pain miellé avec une douce amertume épicée et herbacée. Bien équilibrée mais avec une complexité restreinte. Une bière en deux temps : miellée et céréalière au début et herbacée / épicée et amère en finale. Traditionnelle et bien faite.

Poured from 750mL bottle. Hazy golden orange with off white head. Fairly active carbonation (have a towel ready when opening). Light wood, with alcohol and brett, mild tart pear. A bit rough around the edges.

Tap. Golden color with small white head. Very light citrus hoppy aroma. Taste. Solid malty base with caramel, Followed by moderate citrus hops. Medium long hoppy bitter finish. Good.

Pours clear dark red with a small pink head. Aromas of black currants, lavender, lactose, vinous, oaky. Taste has black currants, peppery notes, herbal, lactic, tannic dry finish.
