12 oz can purchased at Martin City Brewing Company Pizza & Tap in Kansas City, Missouri. Date stamp 10/26/19 on bottom of can. The pour is a mostly clear copper orange with a foamy one inch off white head. Falls with nice lace. The aroma is citrus, floral, caramel malt, a bit of earth and pine, softly boozy. The taste is fresh citrus, orange and lemon, with the floral pine hop, balanced with the malt and a well managed sweetness and finishing dry with earth mineral and soft bitterness. The palate is medium bodied, soft natural carbonation and a slight alcohol presence as the beer warms. Tasty.

~ 10 oz goblet draft at Martin City Pizza and Taproom in Leawood, Kansas. The pour is clear mahogany brown with a fizzy half inch off white head. The aroma is nutty malt and fresh ground coffee. Clean and fresh. The taste is the nut malt backbone, blended nicely with espresso roast coffee notes and a nice earth mineral in the finish. The palate is medium bodied with soft carbonation and the roast mineral finish. Really well put together beer.

My #100 rating for Martin City Brewing Company! Shaker pint draft at Martin City at Mission Farms in Leawood, Kansas. The pour is clear golden with a small foamy white head, and the mentioned slice of lime. The aroma is dry cereal malt, lime citrus, dry floral and sea salt. The taste is a clean blend of the nose, with cereal malt balanced nicely with the soft lime and sea salt. The palate is light bodied, active carbonation and a crisp clean finish. Nice take on the style.

12 oz can purchased at Lukas Liquors in Kansas City, Missouri. The pour is a dark brown black with a ¾ inch foamy khaki head that falls quick. The aroma is sweet caramel, coconut and roast malt. The taste is caramel sweetness up front, followed by vanilla, coconut and closing with the roast malt that has a hint of char to it as well. The palate is medium to heavy bodied, with soft natural carbonation and a lingering coconut roast to the finish. As the beer warms, the alcohol is present and warming. Nice take on the style.

Shaker pint draft at Brass Onion in Overland Park, Kansas. The pour is an opaque black brown with a small khaki head that leaves behind thick lace. The aroma is toast and roast malt, cinnamon, and sweet maple syrup. The taste is big maple syrup sweetness up front, followed by spice of cinnamon and nutmeg and the malt toast notes behind. The palate is medium to heavy bodied with soft carbonation and the maple syrup lingering in the finish. This was very much a doughnut stout. Too sweet for my tastes, though for folks that are into this sort of thing, it was well made.
