Pressed, fermented, and bottled in Gloucestershire.
Dunkertons history reaches back to 1980 when Ivor and Susie Dunkerton made the decision to escape London and buy a small holding in Pembridge, Herefordshire. They realised that with such a small amount of land they needed to specialise in some form of agriculture and spotted that traditional cider making presented a fantastic opportunity.
In 2014 Ivor and Susie passed Dunkertons to their son Julian and his business partner Bean.
In 2016 the production business relocated to our new state of the art cidery at Dowdeswell Park, Cheltenham.

Bottle from Cork & Cask. Pale golden body with a light haze and no head. Lively carbonation. Aroma of vinegar and lemon. Flavour of lemon and a hint of nail varnish. Thin body with a watery texture. Light fizz. Boozy and sharp. I love their organic cider but I didn’t like this.

500ml bottle. Golden amber with a very slight haze, no head. Not actually that dry, more of a medium, ripe sweet apples, tannins, light funk. Light-moderate carbonation. Very nice.

Bottle at home, from local CoOp, 15/08/20. Almost clear golden with a good sized head, as it goes for a cider, of tightly knit white bubbles. Nose is funk, damp grass, apple orchard, ripe apple. Taste comprises tarte apple, funk, orchard wood, duty tones, hay bale, tannins. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close. Solid rustic fayre.

500ml bottle (6.8% ABV); BB Dec 2021. The third and final Cider in my little tasting session with myself on 30th Jul 2020. This was by far the best of the three, depth and flavour out gunning the other two. Apples!
