Rerate: bottle, BB 11/2014, large sample. Slight hazy amber color, short frothy off-white head. Aroma is quite spicy, bit peppery, slight flowery hop, bit caramel, hint of alcohol. Bit sweet in taste, caramel, spicy, dry, slight alcohol. Decent stuff. Original rate from 2002: Cloudy dark color, lasting head. Creamy butter aroma, bit sour, bit malty. Creamy malty taste, alcohol hardly present. Soft palate. 3.1

Bottled. Orange coloured andvery cloudy. Aroma of orange and curacao. very yeasty and fruity, with thick vinus mouthfeel. Rather sweet. Bitter finish. Very interesting and flavourful wit, but refreshing it is not.

Bottled. Orange coloured, cloudy. Very flowery aroma. Medium bodied and very sweet. All other flavours are hidden behind the wall of sugar and flowery hops.

Bottled. Dark reddish brown, and really cloudy. Very flowery aroma. Nicely malty, but dominated by the flowery hoppiness that lingers on well into the finish.

Sampled at Utrechts Bokbierfestival : Orange-brown color. Amber aroma. Amber sourness in the taste. Reminded me of the Chouffe Bok, which i liked very much. But this one is a bit more watery.

Dark yellow color. Not real tasty color. Smells like lemon, with an additional distinct perfume, some herb or spice. Hoppy taste? Don't know. Not the best White i've had.

Taste has been explicitly described by the others. That this beer is actually a pilsener, i couldn’t imagine. Full of taste, delicious aroma. If this is truly a pilsener, it is a HELL of a pilsener!

Dark brown color. Roasted malts. Rochefort like brew, but, ofcourse, not many beers match the quality of Rochefort or Westvleteren.
