Description

330 ml @ Delirium Monasterium, Brussels. Unclear orange body with a nice white head. Delicate aroma of citric fruit, spices, barnyard, mild funk and some oak. Flavor is sweet pale malt, citric fruit, mild oak, moderate funky, spicy, some bitterness and yeast. Quite complex in flavor, actually a bit unusually but very nice. Fine balanced body and nice, smooth aftertaste with both sweetness, acidity and wooden funk. Interesting and tasty.

330 ml @ Delirium Monasterium, Brussels. Unclear orange body with a nice white head. Strong and slightly unusually aroma, funky with malt, wood, spices, dry fruit and some booze. The flavor felt strange and unusually, slightly unbalanced at the first sips, but it seems to saddle down a bit when getting used to it. Quite pleasant actually, funky Brett, wood, malt, mature fruit, alcohol and spices. Fine balanced body and long lasting aftertaste. Definitively interesting and quite tasty after a little while.

Sample @ Zythos’16, courtesy of and shared with the RB Belgian crew.

Sampled @ ZBF 2016. (Thank you for sharing RB people!) Very hazy orange, little white head; Nose is weird milky sweetness, oily flowers, sugar, yeast. Taste is sweet big plastic upfront, the Bruichladdich I assume, milky, sugar, flowers, weird sweet plastic, yoghurt, lemon. Milky yeasty, yoghurt body. Strange, everything seems to cancel everything else a bit odd, leaving a slightly confusing milky sweet beer with lots of plastic, not entirely sure what this one was meant to be.
