Courtesy of Martinus. 35 cl. bottle sampled @ decadent symmetry tasting. Simple but effective design. Appearance is quite incredible, Deep cranberry cassis with sadly a non-lasting pink head. Nose is pretty much pure cassis juice from a pack, incredible with a light tart, really nice. Taste is touch natural sweet cassis juice, slight bitter cassis & grape skins, lightly bitter herbs, grape wines, blackcurrant, hint brett. Fine brett, big juice-like. Body is very easy, very lovely beer, bit more juice than beer but when something is as good as this one, I do not care.

Perfekt sommardryck.

Salmon-orange, cloudy, with a fine, low head. Nose of tangy lemon, peach, bretty dust, some yogurt, bread. Bretty, funky flavor, lemon, dust, leather. Bitter finish. Grapefruit zest. Interesting, very funky, and a bit harsh. Crisp, light body.

Deep orange, very cloudy, thick, fine head. Fruity, estery nose, stewed peaches, oranges, some spicy yeast. Bready, fruity flavor, some bretty funk, minerals. Too estery but a nice, prickly peppery finish.

Bottle at Chriso’s Pre-GBBF Shindig 2013, 10/08/13. Hazed pale blonde/yellow with a thin white head. Nose is sour and tarte fruits, orange, lemon rind, woody notes, mango. Taste comprises mango, pineapple, light sour notes, funk, sugars. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, dry in the execution. Nice little drop - I’d class as a sour (light)! The ’fruit’ classification doesn’t do this one justice.

Bottle. Hazy deep brown liquid with small to medium light brown head. Aroma of raw sugar, raisins, light barnyard, leather, chocolate and light bread. Taste is dry and light bitter with notes of bread, chocolate, barnyard and raw sugar. Light bodied with medium carbonation, maybe a bit watery. Really good for the ABV, but not as bretty as most Brekeriet beers.

Bottle at Chriso’s Pre-GBBF Shindig 2013. It pours hazy golden orange with a medium white head. The nose is juicy orange, mango, apricot, peach, sweet dough, hay and icing sugar. The taste is tart apricot, peach, mango, sherbet, sour candy and earth with a dry, lightly tart finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Juicy, tart and easy going. Another winner from Brekeriet!
