Description
Collective Arts Brewing is a grassroots craft brewery that aims to fuse the creativity of craft beer with the inspired talents of emerging artists and musicians. Collective Arts Brewing was founded on two beliefs: The first that creativity fosters creativity. And the second, that creativity yields delicious pints. We feature limited-edition works of art on our beer cans and labels, and we work to make sure the liquid on the inside is as diverse and creative as the artists we profile. Our brewery is located in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. This is where we brew everything from our flagship IPA Ransack the Universe to our World Beer Cup-winning Stranger than Fiction porter. In our taproom we pour up to 10 different beers at one time, samples and flights, we host brewery tours and live entertainment weekly. Stop by to see our beer bottle gallery showcasing every artist we’ve worked with over the past 6 years.

This pumpkin Saison poured a cloudy, medium amber colour with a fastly dissipating, foamy off white head. Scents include club soda, allspice and a little ripe fruit. First taste was a little thin but full of flavour. Tastes of pumpkin, spice and a salty sour flavour. Quite sour to the palate, and the spice flavourings linger on the tongue. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

473ml can. Pours a cloudy gold with a large, frothy, long lasting, white head that leaves curtains of lace. Sweet, fruity aroma of tropical fruit, lemon, wheat malt and yeast. Sweet, fruity flavour of tropical fruit, lemon, spice, wheat malt, yeast and light funk with a dry, bitter, hoppy, slightly tart finish. Light to medium body with an oily texture and average carbonation. Very nice.

Can from the LCBO. Despite my usual loathing of the annual pumpkin spice migration across the beer shelves I decided to see what Collective Arts could do with it. Pours clear amber with a very active short lived white head. Despite the active carbonation, the nose is quite subdued with some yeast, light nutmeg and ginger as well as a light bread. The tartness actually balances the spice and doesn’t allow it to become overbearing. Pretty well balanced throughout. Mouth is slightly thin with prickly carbonation. Definitely bearable but no need to revisit. 7/3/7+/3+/14-

Draft at e11even in Toronto with S. Clear golden pour with minimal head. Aroma is a little bit of papaya with banana and spice. Taste is mostly light crisp saison with dry white bitterness on the finish. Not bad but nothing special.

Pours black with a small tan head.Nose shows faint cocoa, bready malt, liquorice and soft fruity notes. Subtle.Falvours include more bready notes, cocoa and soft booze. Again, not particularly full-flavoured.

Can: Poured a bright light yellow color ale with a nice large foamy white head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of citrusy and floral hops is quite enticing. Taste is also a nice mix of citrusy floral hops notes with light watery notes also noticeable. Body is light with great carbonation. Well brewed and very enjoyable hops profile but body and malt presence is slightly below my expectations.
