375ml bottle. Clear, amber colour with small, frothy, half-way lasting, moderately lacing, white head. Minimally toasty, bready, malty aroma, hints of rye crisp bread, minimally soapy, hoppy overtones. Taste is mildly bitter, earthy-grassy and minimally piney hoppy, minimally toasty, bready malty basis, hints of rye crisp bread, subtle caramel malty sweetness; lingering, dry finish.
Watery texture, smooth and soft, simultaneously minimally dry palate, medium to fine, prickly carbonation.
Light and a bit cautious, clean, refreshing, drinkable - not too bad.

A replacement for Cascade Premium? Is that retired? A replacement for Cascade Premium? Bottle. Clear golden amber with a cm of white head. Aroma of grainy crackers, hints of citrus, spices. Dryish with crackers and a decent spicy bitter bite. Not bad at all - notably less meek than many previous Cascade offerings.

Pours amber with an oily white head. Aroma of rice and malt. Taste has a lot more flavor than I’d expect, grainy, some yeast. Palate has toasted malt on the nose, lingering. Quite good actually.

Can. Black with a cm of tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, chicory, chocolate, caramel. Medium bodied, smooth. Someone knows what they're doing here: the chocolate is bittersweet and just fills out the palate and supports the roasted flavours (which IMHO are a bit mean in normal Cascade Stout). Weedy bitter end. This is rather well done and - perhaps not all that surprisingly - reminiscent of Young's Double Chocolate Stout. I'll drink more of this.

375ml can into schooner glass. From BWS, Glen Innes. Pours a crystal clear golden yellow with zero head and a few sticky bubbles. Faint aroma of apples. Mouthfeel is lightly sparkling, finish is sweet at first then drying. Passionfruit is noticeable but mostly tastes like a supercharged cider.

375ml can into pint glass. Pours pink with no head and high carbonation. Nose is musty yeast. Taste is neutral, finish is dry berry and tart apple. No obvious alcohol. Surprisingly easy to drink considering its ABV.
