750ml wired cork bottle from Oak Barrel, Sydney. Opened with a pop. Hazy orangey gold colour, white foam head that dissipates to a thin rim and aroma of apple, juicy, fruity, alittle caramel. Taste is tangy, apple, fleshy with some core and earthy drying tannins. Medium bodied, light carbonation, dry tannic finish. Nicely drinkable.

750ml wired cork bottle from The Oak Barrel. 2021 Vintage, 6.2%. Opened with a pop. Cloudy orange amber colour, white bubbly foam head that quickly dissipates away and aroma of apple, pulpy, fruity, orchardy. Taste is sweetish, tangy, tart, apple, fruity, fleshy, caramel, with orchard, leather & earthy notes and bittersweet tannins. Medium bodied, light carbonation, dry tart & tannic finish. Very drinkable

(Bottle) Pours hazy straw with no head. Aroma is apples. Light body rather fizzy. Great taste - apples and toffee notes. Very good cider.

Sample, thanks Danlo for this! Pale gold appearance. Strong nutty sweet nose. Continues to taste, quite mellow for the strength.. expected it to be a little boozy, but it's quite pleasantly balanced with a prominent sweet whisky influence, oily on the palate with a drying close. Decent.

Pot at Bluebonnet BBQ Melbourne, pours a pulpy gold, white head. Nose has green and sweet apples, honey. Flavor is sweet, honey, Apple juice. Flavor is all apple, mostly juice, some pulpy. This feels like is has some character though. Off dry finish.

Aroma of medium sweet apples, wood, slightly funky/musty, and a touch of vanilla. Moderate sweetness, light tartness. Moderate body, slight oily texture, average carbonation. Light dryness to finish. Good!

Moderate sweetness, light tartness. Moderate body, slight oily texture, average carbonation. Dry, tannic finish. Nicely done.

Taste is tangy, apple, fruity, mellow, woody, with whisky, vanilla, oak and drying tannins. Medium bodied, medium to soft carbonation, dry boozy earthy tannic finish. Very drinkable.

Taste is juicy apple, with woody oak barrel, light funk, caramel and vanilla, plus drying tannins. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, dry oaky tannic finish. Very drinkable.

355ml can from Oak Barrel, Sydney. Hazy golden colour, white foam head that dissipates away and aroma of juicy fruity apple, twiggy funk. Taste is fruity fleshy apple, alittle core & skin, tangy and mellow, with some woody funk and drying tannins. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry tannic finish. Nicely ddrinkable.
