On tap at NHBF’16. Golden colour, white head. Aroma of cardamom, coriander, medium sweet, malts, spicy. Flavour is malty, light hoppy, dry, spicy, cardamom, light citrus, bitter finish. Medium bodied. Nice.

Sampled from tap at NHB 2016. Murky, dark brown with a beige head. Sweetish-malty, slightly roasty and a little smoky aroma of dark chocolate, caramel, some milk coffee and hints of campfire. Sweetish-malty, slightly roasty and a little smoky taste of dark chocolate, some coffee, hazelnut, caramel and hints of campfire, followed by a short, slightly roasty-bitter, a little yeasty finish. Medium body, slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Okay.

Sampled from tap at NHB 2016. Clear, pale golden amber with a white head. Sweetish, yeasty-spicy aroma of clove, some banana and coriander. Sweetish, yeasty-spicy taste of caramel, honey, clove and coriander, followed by a medium long, rather yeasty-spicy finish. Medium body, slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Quite nice!

Bottle from maakun, thanks! Pours dark amber with creamy white head. Chalky aroma with light citrus, wheat and grass. Some boiled vegetables and a strange bitter finish.

Bottle 330ml. [ As Zwarte BE+ER ].Clear dark red brown color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, meat, smoke, wood. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet with a long duration, sweet malt, sweet smoke, wood, meat, dark malt, medium dry. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20150924]

Bottle @ home. Hazy yellow to pale orange color, full sized fluffy white head that lasts for a long time. Aroma is wheat, citrus, quite sweet somehow. Taste wheat, yeast, more herbs or spices, less citrus. Average body, a bit fizzy carbonation. After a while the fizzy carbonation diminishes which makes the beer more pleasant to drink. Up +0.2 points.
