On tap at Oedipus/Zwanze, at 5.5%. Hazy golden yellow colour, white head. Aroma of sour grapes, white wine, funk, wood, some citrus, some poo. Flavour is light sweet, tart, grapes, funk, fruity sourness, light citrus, tart-bitter finish. Light bodied.

Tap at Zwanze Amsterdam. Hazy straw with short lasting white head that leaves a nice looking film. Gooseberries, seaweed, fish, seawater, lemon, sour doughy notes with light tortilla chips. Light sour and salty. Thin bodied with soft but prickly carbonation. The nose is great but otherwise not very good.

Tap at Zwanze Amsterdam. Hazy golden with big bubbly white head. Light peach, funk, grainy, light white pepper, soap. Light sour with light soapy sweetness. Watery feel with under medium body and soft drink like carbonation.

Draft at Oedipus. Pours cloudy pale blond with a medium white head. Aroma of peppery saison yeast, light funky notes, light vinous notes, citrus and light woody notes. Flavour is above light sweet, sour and bitter. Light to medium bodied with soft carbonation.

On tap @ Kimchi festival 2015. Murky dark brown color. Big beige to brown head, slowly receding. Aroma’s: roasted, light sour, coffee/mocha. Retronasal I get roast, malts, ground coffe, light sourness. Flavor is roasty moderate bitter with a hint of (coffee-ish) sourness. Light bodied, rather thin. Finishes with a hard-roasted bitterness.

On tap @ Kimchi festival 2015. Cloudy pale blonde color. Rocky white head with good lacing. Aroma’s: light smokey, fruit, wheat. Retronasal it’s smokey, refreshing, sweet & sour fruit. Flavor is smokey, fruity, just hints of sour, sweet and bitter. Light bodied, rather thin. Short finish, lightly bitter. Very refreshing, which is strange for a smokey beer.
