Description
Since 2011, Brouwers Verzet has been brewing its quirky beers in the installations of befriended brewers.
In March 2016, the name changed to Brewery 't Verzet and the beers were brewed in their own kettles in Anzegem, West Flanders.
Brewery 't Verzet stands for balanced beers with a twist.

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Slijterij De Langstraat, Waalwijk.
Clear brown with a very thin off-white head. Oak and sour cherries in the aroma. Sour taste with a sour finish. I love Flemish Oud Bruin but this one is a bit too sour and not balanced by some sweetness. Still nice though

Creamy lightbrown fair mostly lasting head. Very dark red amber colour. Moderate malty and hoppy aroma. Moderate sweet very intense moderate bitter flavior. Long finish. Creamy palate. Share or drink slow.......

Bottle from Hopduvel.
A: clear brown, small, foamy, tan head.
A: blackcurrant, brambleberry, vinegar, leather.
T: sour blackcurrant, nectarine stone, cherry, vinegar.
F: tart berries, woody tannins.
P: medium body, slick texture, soft carbonation.
Clean, fruity and tart.

bottiglia 33 cl, schiuma cappuccino fine media persistenza, color marrone, al naso vino Porto zucchero di canna frutti rossi uvetta sotto spirito e una punta di anice, in bocca è morbida malto tostato Marsala frutta secca leggero liquirizia spezie, lieve acidula, corpo rotondo, carbonazione moderata, dolce con amaro moderato. Qualità Verzet. Molto molto buona. c. Cantina della birra 19.07.25

Opaque deep brown to black with a small beige head. Dark malts, burnt bread, dried dates & figs, treacle, chocolate, burnt sugar. Pretty sweet. Almost cloying. Dense. Below expectations.

Bottle. Color: Clear chestnut, beige head. Aroma: Tart, caramel, apple syrup. Taste: Tart, balsamico vinegar, apple syrup, malty, oak wood. Ovet medium tartness. Medium body, below average carbonation.

Donkerbruin tot zwart bier met weinig schuim. Smaak is krachtig warm en zoet met iets van rum, rozijnen, wat rode wijn en zoet fruit. Heeft een sterke rum en wijn guer die het geheel compleet maakt. Echt een top bier.

Bouteille 33cl de et partagée avec Tdroeck à Ixelles. BB 11/05/2025.
Léger pâle/ambre, col fin blanc-cassé.
Arôme est sur un bouquet plaisant tourbé, fumée délicate tout en ayant une bonne dose de malts qui osciulle entre le caramel, léger crystal avec qcq pointes de fruits secs. Effet cendre revient en appui.
Palais sur une belle approche du barley wine avec la signature très anglaise du style. Petite note de tourbé et de fumée en retrait ave cune marque délicate de terreux. Qcq notes cendrées avec un léger chocolat en support. Houblonné noble qui balance tout cela - finement terreux avec un retour fin caramel.
