Aus der Flasche (bbe 15.06.2040) im 2025-08 getrunken. Diese orange Gueuze kommt wie eine Schneekugel mit einer ordentlichen Portion an Hefe-Flocken daher. Hier finden sich klassiche, wunderbar ausgewogene Gueuze Aromen mit floralen Noten, feinen Weinessig, Hefe und Eichenholz des Oak Foeders.

Boon / Mikkeller Oude Geuze Boon, Bone Dry Mikkeller Selection. 7% ABV, not 6,4%. This is NOT black label edition, but is Yellow label Mikkeller dry hopped version. It was diffrent version than black label. I don't understand why ratebeer pairing that two version to one? mocno chmielny lambick, wytrawny bardzo, lekko cierpki, musujacy, spore nagazowanie, piana napowietrzona jakby. skromnie z metnoscia, poteznie wytrawne i kwaskowo-cytrusowe. mimo to wole klasyczne gueuze Boon'a niz eksperymenty Mikkellera w tym stylu.

Hazy yellow colour with medium white fluffy head.Aroma of leather and yeast mild fruit of citrus and dry mild tart mouth feels nice and tasty stuff.

Aroma: bold, pretty nice funk, some sweetness.
Taste: along the same lines, good funk and minerals, nicely balanced.
Overall: good one 👍

Poured from 375mL bottle (batch #01501; bb 29/11/2038). Lightly hazed orange gold with minimal white head and a touch of sediment. Full bodied, barnyard funk, very nice.

Slightly opalescent golden colour, large off-white head, which lasts, for a few minutes; aroma of acetone, some citric and acetic acidy, woody, tannins, unripe fruity and grape, barnyard, earthy, vinous, some leather, and even some hoppy bittery notes; taste is similar to the aroma; good one

0.75l bottle thanks to Lore. Slighgly opaque golden body with a huge white head that collapses to a nice lace. Aroma of some cellar notes, bready malts, hay, lemon zest, white pepper and some earthy notes. Taste of lemon and orange zest, cellar notes, white pepper, grape must and some earthy hops. Great beer, one of the gueuzes with less vinegar and funk.

33cl bottle. Pours dark red/brown, with fine cream foam. Aroma is malty, caramel and cherries. Body is rather full, with good carbonation. Taste is fairly sweet. Final is average.
