Cloudy amber, small head. Fruity barnyard aroma. Dry and cheesy with filling, firm mouthfeel. Notes of cobwebs and cheese, as well as some apples in the finish. Not very acidic.

I had an old version of this one - maybe that accounts for my not that overwhelming impression. The the color is brown and it has no head. The aroma is of wood and ammoniac. The flavor was sour - as it is supposed to be - but with strong notes of ammoniac. The ammoniac really draws this beer down for me - I have to try to find it again.

Deep brown body (little bit reddish). Lightly brownish rocky head, mostly diminishing. Good lace. Malty, sweet aroma. Lightly sweet, lightly bitter initial flavour. Lightly bitter finish. Lively mouthfeel.

The colour is red with brown hue, there is a light piff upon uncorking, and a few bubbles in the glass. Mild aroma of cherries, balsamic, cork. It still has some mild carbonation; mellow, cherry and caramel, with low acidity and balsamic notes, cherry jam; minimal signs of oxidation.
Very good.

Deep ruby color. Aroma of cherry cake, fôret noire, fruity and creamy. Good body strength, smooth mouthfeel, sweetish, with nice cherry flavor but low bitterness, low tannins, low sourness, short final.

Cloudy red color. Very nice cherry aroma, some sweetness; very light vanilla; no sourness. Pleasant taste, correct fuitiness, not really sour. Average final. An easy approach to Fruit Lambics.

Red, very clear body. Pink fizzy head, mostly lasting, virtually no lace. Sourish aroma. A dominating soapy aroma, combined with the typical gueuze-aroma (which is as a matter of fact a little bit more at the background of the aroma. Initial cherry flavour. Sour, long finish. Fizzy mouthfeel.

16/2/04 date on the bottle (best before). Medium pink color, with some rosy hues and light white-yellow tinges. Lots of sediment at the bottom which clouds and darkens it. Small, rapidly dissipating white head. Good amount of effervescence and the aroma has a lightly tart, moderately sweet cherry meat smell. Not terribly complex on the nose and the flavor is a bit light as well. Medium sweet, very lightly tart. Good enough real cherry flavors, but the lambic behind it is very fleeting. The finish is quick and there is an additional note of refined sugar. Nowhere near as sweet as Lindemans, but the texture is not chewy or interesting either. A good, light drink, but give me more lambic qualities. Some sour oak tannin flavors are detectable but there is no funk whatsoever.

Cloudy, dark pink with lots of bubbles and a lively head, white with a hint of pink. Aroma of cherry with some earth, wood and lemon to it. Flavour is initially overwhelming acidy, followed by a more rounded taste of cherry, wood and vanilla. Long pleasant (wood/sour) aftertaste.
