Bottle: Copper to orangey coloured, hazy, thick off-white lacing head; big fruity-malty nose (honey, nuts) with a tinge of a distictive herbal hoppiness; medium bitter-malty flavour; smooth and dryish bitter aftertaste with a tinge of maltiness. Rather good stuff, a cross between a Märzen and a Kellerbier; quite well balanced, good aromas.

(Bottle 50 cl) Pilsener golden clouded by small, floating particles. The head starts off impressively tall and frothy but collapses rather quickly. Very lovely hoppy aroma, and starts with some initial bitterness. But the bitterness fades as the beer gets smoother and more rounded. Very interesting and atypically German. 110101

(bottle) Hazy orange colour with small white head. Slight malty nose with a touch of ripe oranges. A slight honey malty flavour, medium to full bodied. Soft carbonated and aromatic hopped aftertaste blended with malts. It was the favourite beer of my Grandma, that´s an extra point !

Bottle. Strong barley malt aroma with hint of molasses. Yellowish tan clear color with lots of tiny bubbles and small head. Sweet, musty grainy malt flavor - moderate carbonation - body a bit weak. Interesting but not spectacular.

Deep blond color; nice lace. Delicate hop aroma, herbal. Reasonable maltiness in the flavor, with a quite good aromatic hopping and a honey touch. Pleasant; thanks Philippe (Bov) for this bottle.

Cloudy dark tan colour. Foamy head. Aroma of apple candy, slightly vinous. Medium body. Slight plastic notes and vague hints of apple. Wheatiness doesn’t seem pronounced but comes through clearly as the expected unfermented sugars, esters and phenols fail to emerge. Still quenching, just kind of empty in terms of what I look for in a top-flight hefeweizen.

The aroma is light but fresh and slightly sweet and hoppy. The color is orange and it has a beutiful head. The flavor is also very light with a little sweetness and fruitiness. It is a pretty refreshing beer with an OK bitterness (at first aromahops) - but in the end the bitterness turns to a dryness.
