Description
As of August 15, 2022 under new management! Temporarily brewed in Bury, Manchester.
Weird Beard Brew Co. consists of a small team of people, wildly passionate about beer.
We make what we love and we love what we make, brewing all types of beers from hoppy session IPAs to bold imperial stouts and we're partial to experimenting within and around styles. We won't hold back! Because we can brew what we want, when we want, we make sure that we're putting out beers we are proud of.

Craft Clerkenwell. Keg. Light haze on this gold beer, little white head. Light and minerally crisp palate. Thin malt, just about enough to support the hops. Nice fresh grapefruit, not too bitter. Mild skunk. Light minerally finish with an orange peel bitter linger.

Keg at Birmingham Beer Bash; hazy amber pour with big white foamy head, orange aroma, juicy tropical hop taste tangerine, a little bit of floral action, backed up with grassy Belgian yeast character.

BATCH 6. Bottle from The Cock Tavern, London. Again, not as cold as I’d liked from this pub. Aroma of vanilla or banana crepe. Taste is chocolate liqueur, citrus hops, grapefruit.. not as intense or rich as the label would suggest.

Very hazy dark amber beer, good pale cream coloured head. Palate is light and airy with minerally carbonation. Light sweet malt base. Light lactose and sweetish yeast in the mid. Touch of generic fruit. Finishes semi dry. Okay but not getting much Nelson character.

Hazy amber beer, little white head. Palate is dry and airy. Bitterish yeast. Mild minerals. Mild tangy citrus. Dry finish. Found this quite one dimensional and yeasty. A rare disappointment from this new brewery.

Bottle at The Bottle Shop Canterbury. Resin pine hop aroma. Good mouthfeel. Not hugely bitter on finish. Good beer.

Cask at the 2013 Maidenhead Beer Festival. Hazy pale amber colour with a loose white head; attractive trpoical fruit aroma; sweet tropical fruit taste with a good blast of hops, some resinous, some fruity and some woody, all contributing to bitter but fruity finish. Hardly a hop monster, but certainly a fully flavoured, lowish alcohol beer.
