Description
The Exchange is a new premium brewery and tasting room located in Niagara-on-the-Lake’s Old Town heritage district. Although the town is known as the heart of Ontario’s wine country, it is also the scene of a burgeoning craft-brewing industry. With brewing and agricultural roots that stretch back to the late 1700s, Niagara-on-the-Lake is the perfect home for The Exchange’s approach to brewing, which blends traditional and modern techniques and equipment.
We focus on making exceptional craft beers using only the highest quality ingredients, including local Niagara fruits. Our selection includes a range of American styles along with sour and funky Belgian-style beers and ales.

Can from the LCBO. Hazy orange/yellow pour with a large white head. Aroma is sweet pink grapefruit juice, butter and pithy with a soft sweetness. Mouth feel and carb are solid, finish is pithy and a medium bitterness. Grapefruit notes are subtle and not what I expected.

Tap, and can from the source. Hazy yellow pour, with a large white head. Big floral citrus, and juicy tropical fruit notes. Carb and mouth feel are lively, and effervescent. Finish is low to medium bitter with the obvious juicy, zest citrus, and tropical fruit flavours. Typical NEIPA, well done, easy drinking, and incredibly flavorful.

Very dry, lots of tart flavours, lemon, hints of spice. Not much resemblance to a wit. Sour tar finish, lots of stone fruit, big bretty aromas, nice stuff, refreshing, but I wouldn't know this was based on a wit if I didn't read the description.
