Cask at the William IV. Clear pale blond colour, small bubbly white head. Aroma is grapefruit sharp, full on hop pong, maybe bit of resin. Taste is bitter and fruity, lemon, bit of sour cream. Can really taste the booze, and probably shouldn't have started off with a pint of this.

Cask at Old Coffee House. Clear blond colour with small white bubbly head. Aroma is b.o. hops, bit of grapefruit, bit of stink. Taste, not that nice, sour and citrus, but a bit too much. Bit stinky tasting too. Don't like it much.

Keg at Old Coffee House. Dark brown black colour, small golden head. Aroma beefy, roasty. Taste is thick and smoky, bitter coffee, bit of cherry, savoury touch of dark choc. Meaty. Finish is lingering and bitter. Pretty thick. Quite nice. Initially hides booze, but it catches up quickly.

Cask at William IV. Very clear light golden blond colour, small white bubbly head. Aroma is stinky, b.o., really smells sweaty not so nice. Taste is bitter, some sweetness, bit unspecific citrus, bit twiggy. Maybe I don't like citra. Taste is ok though i suppose.

Bottle at William IV. Pale blond, not so much head. Aroma is sour and lemony, quite gueuze like. Impressive. Taste is decent enough, is this the same as the London Sour? Lemon again, not so much else, but decent. Maybe a bit creamy. Very easy drinking. Solid but bit unexciting.

Keg at Old Coffee House. Dark brown black colour, big thick creamy gold head. Aroma is roast malt, bready, little bit of lemon. Taste is very nice. Very thick, bit of creaminess, lemon in background then becomes more prominent. Bit of ice cream float. Thick and filling. Really really nice and totally hides the alcohol. Really want to drink this again.

Keg at Old Coffee House. Kriek like appearance, small bubbly white pink head. Aroma sour cherry with slight stink, bit cakey, marzipan. Later on starts to smell of cider. Taste is nice, sour cherry, not quite belgian sourness, but pretty good. Maybe quite nectar like. Decent spritzy texture. Further down, bit lemon, maybe loses its way a little. Nice try, but not really there.

Bottle at William IV. Dark brown/black colour, gold creamy head. Aroma is subtle smoky, bit creamy, some vanilla, milk chocolate, really nice. Taste is more creamy, very nice, fudge almost. Touch of spice but subtle. Nice sweetness. Haven't had a beer like this. Very smooth. Really nice.

Tap at Brewdog Shoreditch. Hazy blond. Aroma sour lemon, slight stink. Nice lemon bitterness, decent enough and with nice spritziness. Prefer it to the cherry version.

Keg at William IV. Pale hazy blond colour with white bubbly head. Aroma is weird fruity, bit funky, bit stinky. Lemon element but strange. Taste is lemon sherbert, tangerine, grapefruit, bit biscuity. Nice and drinkable and nice bitter finish.
