Keg at William IV. Pale hazy blond colour with white bubbly head. Aroma is weird fruity, bit funky, bit stinky. Lemon element but strange. Taste is lemon sherbert, tangerine, grapefruit, bit biscuity. Nice and drinkable and nice bitter finish.

Cask at Southampton Arms. Pours chocolate brown with a soon disappearing thin white head. Aroma is a bit chocolate malty with hints of coffee and a backbone of hops. Taste is similar, chocolate with a lingering mild bitterness. Thin to medium bodied and low to medium carbonation. Not bad.

Cask at Southampton Arms. Orange coloured with small head. Aroma and taste were fairly unremarkable. Maybe I was having a bad beer evening but it was pretty disappointing. Bit fruity, but really not much to comment on. Tap said this was 7% and alcohol was pretty prominent. Maybe too much.

Cask at William IV. Blond and slightly cloudy, not much head. Quite thin. Aroma is bit grapefruit, lemon citrus. Tastes a bit boozy, not sure why. Finish is bitter. Quite refreshing, but not wild about it.

Cask at William IV. Slightly cloudy light yellow colour with small white bubbly head. Strong lemony aroma. Quite flat in the mouth, and with not a massive amount of distinct flavour, just the lemon you get from the aroma and maybe a touch of grapefruit. Bit thin. Finish is slightly bitter. Perfectly drinkable, but not massively exciting.

Cask at William IV. Golden, slightly cloudy with small white head. Aroma is very fruity. Grapefruit, citrus, mango and bit of bread and a little bit sour dairy. Taste has elements of tropical fruit juice and is slightly oily in the mouth. Very nice beer, must be my favourite Brodies I have ever had. Lovely.

Cask at Southampton Arms. Cloudy orange with no head. Aroma is a bit wheaty, bit orange, and a bit spicy. Taste is wheaty and a bit bitter. Slightly spicy too. Bit of a weird one, but interesting. Medium bodied but feels boozier than it actually is. I think I liked it, but can't say for sure.

Cask @ ACBF 2012. Deep dark brown color. Sucade, plum and lots of dried fruit in the aroma. Harsh oily hopbitter flavor with lots of plums. Floral. Some question marks about the balance, but this is a delicious beer.
