A deep dark saison with a super thick brown head. In aroma, a sweet dark fruity malt with smooth floral and catty hops, resinous and wild grass, some bitter chocolate and licorice, very nice. In mouth, a nice smooth bitter chocolate with grassy resinous hops, licroice, very nice and smooth. Mini growler from brewery.

A lightly hazed reddish dark amber ale with a thin off white head. In aroma, a sweet Nutella malt with light milky notes and British hops. In mouth, a smooth nutty caramel malt with light chocolate and roasted character, grassy hops, OK. Small growler from brewery.

A hazed dark amber ale with a thick collapsing mocha head. In aroma, sweet caramel malt with light fruity notes, and faint British hops. In mouth, a nice fruity caramel malt with light grassy notes, and British hops, a bit light but nice. Small growler from brewery.

A hazed amber IPA with a thick frothy and lacing mocha head. In aroma, pleasant grassy and fruity malt with floral hops and Belgian yeasts, bready and perfumy. In mouth, a smooth breay and fruity malt with sweet oranges and floral hops, very smooth and delicious. 1L growler from brewery.

Tap: Poured a dirty beige color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some good lacing. Aroma of fruity tropical hops with lightly sweet malt notes. Taste is dominated by fruity tropical hops with good notes of lightly sweet malt and some light dry finish. Body is quite full with good carbonation. Solid offering.

Tap: Poured a golden color ale with a nice size foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma consists of sour notes with light oak and light funky notes. Taste is also a good mix of tart notes with light oak and funky yeasty notes with a very well balanced acidity level. Body is about average with good carbonation. I can’t say the wine barrel treatment really came through but well enjoyable offering nonetheless with great control of acidity level.

Bottle: Poured a black color stout with a small foamy head with OK retention. Aroma of light roasted malt with quite a bit of coffee notes with some vanilla note supplementing this mix. Taste is also dominated by roasted malt with light bitter notes with some string coffee notes with plenty of vanilla notes. Body is a bit thin with OK carbonation. I was surprised by the amount of vanilla that came through and thought this was close to a vanilla flavoured cappuccino.
