Thanks to my friend Andre for sharing this one from the brewery. Pours a clean hazy golden colour with a warm cap, good retention and very nice thin creamy lacing. Beautiful fresh hop scent at first pour, but not overly crazy. The mild grass moves over to let the grain show. Flavours of light hops giving a smooth bitterness. Mild grapefruit in the finish. Fruity malts lingers with the grass. A pretty nice IPA that has bite, but not like a hopbomb. Does what it needs to do. Refreshing, crisp, dry, fruity. One of the best balanced IPA I have had in a while.

Thanks to my friend Andre for this one from the brewery. Pours a hazy golden-amber colour with a beige cap that does not stay long and leaves a little lacing. Grassy nose with the Belgian yeast giving out farm notes (in a good way). You can taste more this Belgian Ale yeast, covering the grassy hops. Alcohol is well-hidden. Bubblegum hints in the finish. Pretty nice overall.

Cask with grapefruit zest at the Ottawa Beerfest as Imperial Zesty Guy. A milky looking orange-copper cask color. The nose is citrus, grapefruit and light pine IPA goodness. Big grapefruit zest, solid malt backbone,  citrus & pine in a silky smooth velvety cask body. Good stuff.

On tap at Union 613 as hashtag. A clear copper gold pour. A sweet piney aroma, appetizing. It has a soft scrappy mouthfeel. The taste is slightly bitter, earthy, herbal and light malts.

On tap at Union 613. Served in a mason jar. It pours a cloudy light gold. Lightly spicy tart Belgian aroma. Soft round mouthfeel. The taste is Belgian light banana, saison like funk.

On tap at the Ottawa Beerfest. It poured a deep cola brown with ruby accents and a beige head. The nose was roasty chocolate. It is smooth wonderful stuff. Not so complex but very well executed.

On tap at the Ottawa Beerfest. 1 ticket for 4 oz. A clear honey amber that has a thin beige head with a woodsy oaky nose. Medium bodied, fairly smooth with a round carbonation. The taste is malty, chewy light grains, mildly bitter and a bit fruity. A satisfying English bitter.

On tap at the Ottawa Craft Beer fest. One of the good IPA’s of the event even though it was a session. Pretty tasty, well balanced with a good mix of tropical fruits and hop bitterness.
