Cask, gravity at Merton Winter Beer Festival, 17th & 18th February 2012 Pours amber in colour with a white head, good clarity, actually looks excellent much like its Acorn colleague, Northern Brewer IPA. A decent beer with a mid bitterness, quite fruity but I totally agree with Glen this lacks the crispness and refreshing bite that the Norther Brewer had. Pleasant but bettered by others. Cask, gravity at Merton Winter Beer Festival, 17th & 18th February 2012 Dark gold with a nice medium white head. Crisp refreshing fruity beer with these hops shining from the off (lovely beer) Good rush of citrus and a wonderful juiciness throughout, bitterness is quite pushy but propels this beer along well. Loved this beer and was my favourite of the weekend. A7 A5 T9 P4 Ov16 4.1

Cask, Spitting Feathers Tap, Chester. Dark reddish brown colour with a small tan head. Nose had roast, fruit, earth and spice notes. Some welcome hop bitterness emerged in the sweetish flavour alongside, robust malts, more roast and berry fruit. Smooth and drinkable. Dried out some in the finish. Decent stuff and one of the better christmas beers out there.
