Cask, handpump at The Hop Pole, Aylesbury, Bucks, 31.10.11 Pours dark gold, almost darker than that in fact, there is a white head atop. Great depth of flavour some nice honey running with a superb bitterness, lovely bittersweet balance. Wonderful zesty, citrussy flavours, truly great beer. Wish I could have stopped for another. Bottle shared with Loz, Jan & Charlotte Sun 23rd Oct 2011 at home. Jan brought this along, cheers Jan! 2011 Little dry in the mouth, amber in colour with a little hazy film on top. Hops are quite strident and hard edged, some sweetness, its very nice. A6 A4 T7 P4 Ov13 3.4

On tap at the Magpie. Clear amber beer. Nice creamy pale cream coloured head. Smooth palate but somewhat dry, Nice creamy malt backbone. Mild lemon cream Sorachi, the lemon is slightly sour as well. Bitterness ramps up to quite a bitter finale and with a trace of bubblegum coming through. Good!. Although a slightly more muscular version would be nicerer!

Cask @ Drum and Monkey. Clear golden colour, off-white head. Nose is citric, hoppy, a bit of caramel, bit of vanilla or something bourbon aged. Quite odd. Flavour is light malty, well hopped, bit of vanilla, dish cloth. Very interesting.
