Cask, Fly in the Loaf, Liverpool. Amber with a good sized white head. Aroma gently fruity with some grassy hop. Plenty of juicy citrus and more hop in the flavour which was clean and refreshing with some unobtrusive malt leading to a lingering bitter finish. Straightforward and tasty drop. Cheers Charlie!

Bottle. Pours a black color with a small off-white head. Has a roasted malty chocolate aroma. Roasted malty chocolate flavor with some hints of caramel. Has a roasted malty chocolate finish.

Cask gravity at Pig’s Ear BF 09. Slight hazy gold, lasting white head. Citrus acidic hoppy aroma, it may be yet another golden ale, but at least it’s hoppy.

Cask handpull at Crosse Keys, JDW, London. Gold, thin white head. Sherberty hop, golden ale with diacetyl. Not good, ok beer, but I don’t like diacetyl.

Cask, handpump at The City Tavern, Birmingham 13-12-09 Pours mid gold with white head. There is a little bit of citrus on the nose along with some scrunched up papery aroma. Taste is nicely citric, some light biscuity malts, another nice beer from Salopian. A6 A3 F7 P4 Ov13 3.3

Cask, Ship and Mitre, Liverpool. Ruddy copper colour with a medium off white head. Really nice fragrant hop and fruity aroma. Relatively sweet flavour with a solid malt backbone and some nice hoppage. Smooth, with medium body. Very drinkable and a pretty darn tasty effort. Definitely one of the better English breweries.

10th July 2009. Light gold beer. Lovely fresh bitter bursting with fruity ornage and grapefruit. Not that bitter.

Cask, Fly in the Loaf, Liverpool. Amber colour with a half decent sized white head. Fragrant aroma had traces of tropical fruit and some grassy hop as did the flavour. Dry bitter finish. Quite tasty.
