On tap at the Flying Beaver. Pours a hazy gold with light head. Aromas of coriander m, cloves, dull citrus and wheat. Flavors follow same with lots of cloves and big wheaty and earthy malts. Good. Historic…

Can brought back from Montreal by the missus. The blackberry is notable right up front, over light hay malt that is mildly sweet. It's very berry strong, and it really throws off the balance of this beer. Not great.

Lightly hazed, golden colour with an amber hue, a frothy, warm-white head, good stay and creamy-foamy lacing. Big nectarine nose with the citrusy juices, some cantaloupe and a little rich, kind of essences. The oranges, melons and decent grassiness is better in the taste - feels more real. Hence, why I enjoyed this beer more from the cans, than the glass I am rating right now.

Can: Poured a hazy yellow color ale with a large white foamy head with good retention and some light lacing. Aroma of syrupy raspberry notes with some light wheat malt notes. Taste is also a mix of syrupy extract based raspberry with some semi-sweet wheat malt notes. Body is about average for style with good carbonation. Not a big fan of these extract based flavours.

Can from Trader Joe’s in Davis California. Pours translucent orange gold with a motors and transient white head. Aroma of malt and clove. Arguably full bodied. Flavor is rather toffee with banana and clove. Not dry and the spice balances the malt. It’s a really nice Belgian ale.
