12/7/2024. Cask at the 33rd Ealing Beer Festival. Pours clear very pale gold with a small frothy white head. Aroma is citrus, lemon, grapefruit, tropical fruits, gooseberry, passionfruit. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness. Moderate body, oily watery, soft carbonation. Nice bitterness to finish. Decent.

Cask, pale colour, small head. Aroma malt, sweet, hint of fruit. Taste is sweet, malt, fruit, hops, weak.

Cask at White Hart, Sedgley. Aroma is lightly spiced and herbal. Clear gold. Thick foamy white head. Flava matches aroma eith added citrus and underlying caramel. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Fine.

Pours black with a small, mostly lasting, foamy beige head. The aroma is roasted malts, charred grain, dark fruit with liquorice and chocolate notes. A moderately sweet roasted taste, roasted malts, dark plummy fruit, liquorice and bitter chocolate flavours with a light drying, liquorice and bittersweet roasted finish.

Deep dark brown, near black, with a creamy tan head. Soft bitter coffee on the nose, medium bodied with dark fruit, roasted malt and coffee and then the hops pile in to mash it all up
