Pours an almost clear amber colour with a small creamy white head. The aroma is citrus, malts, and some pine. A moderately sweet and bitter taste, pale malts, pithy grapefruit and pine flavours with an astringent hoppy bitterness.

Cask at the Hope Tap (JDW), Reading. Pale amber with a cream-coloured head. Creamy mouthfeel with bitter pine from the off. There's some grapefruit and malted milk biscuits in there too. Lightly dry finish with a lasting bitterness. The bitterness is a little overdone compared to the other flavours for me. Ok, but below what I'd normally expect from Oakham.

Third of a cask pint in my local Wetherspoons on 14th October 2024. Light amber body, white crown. Piney front to the nose and taste, citrus fruits join in mid-sip.

On cask at the SO. Appearance - golden and clear, proportionate, creamy white head. Nose - caramel and an edge of lemon. Taste - orange barley water, bread and still some caramel. Palate - light to medium bodied, tangy and dry finish. Overall - quite good.

[Cask at the Hope Tap (JDW), Reading.] A pale amber pour with a tight white head; grainy aroma; quite resinous and oily in the mouth with some lemon zest and pine; then a lasting dry finish with biscuity malts and chewy hops. A solid APA.

Cask handpull at County Hotel JDW Ashford. Clear amber colour and lasting beige head. Oh yes definitely some pine and resin in the mouth. A little light in condition which is odd about Oakham as they normally brewery condition perfectly. Some bitterness on the finish. S9me nettle hop some pine on finish. OK.

Hand-pulled half-pint on 9th October 2024, Pheasant Inn and Brewhouse. White (ish) crown on a dark brown body. Roadside berries in the nose and taste, add in a roasted/toasted maltiness and you've got a decent beer in your hand.

Very dark brown with a frothy/bubbly tan head and dark berry fruits and raosted malt on the nose. Hope bitterness and raosted malt are nicely combined, there's some coffee bitterness ahead of a dry finish
