Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a very cloudy golden with a white head. Unclean, yeasty aroma - some rotten fruit. Very thin body, yeasty with a tart underlying note. Dryish finish. Drinkable though - which is not always the case with non-alcoholic Hefes. 301109

Bottle. It pours a hazy, yellow-orange body with a nice and big white head leaving lacings. Very chewing-gum like nose with banana-like fruityness and some cloves and hop-notes. In a strange way reminiscent of french fries. Sweet, banana-fruity flavor with some cloves and bitterness, as well as wheaty sugarness. Full-bodied, very effervescent and rather sticky in the mouth. Sweet, fruity, bananaish finish with a hint of bitterness and cloves. Quite cloying actually, not a beer I long to revisit. 091008

330ml bottle. Pale gold with a slight white head. Light, bready malt aroma, slightly sweet. Flavour had more character with a floral hop edge, touch of turkish delight, hint of barley sugar and sweetish finish. Ok.

Bottle at The Rake, Thanks Hughie for this one. Gold, lager malt/cereal on aroma. OK in mouth. Some metallic carbonation. Some dryness on finish. Sweetish cereally lager.2.8 early lager rating. clear gold colour lasting white head. clean lager. a little thickness from the abv. its clean fine. light sweetness. some hop in the finish ok.

bottled, draught and 5l mini-casks, on several occasions. Clear golden yellow colour, large and creamy white head. Hoppy nose. Medium to full-bodied with a solid underlying maltiness and a shy hopcharacter. Grassy with hints of hay and herbs. A wel-balanced Pilsener.

bottle, found in a local Getränkemarkt. I can’t easily understand the syntactic construction of Alkoholfrei Zäpfle, but besides that the bottle has the classic Rothaus look. Rothaus Alkoholfrei seems to be available since summer 2009. It has a clear golden yellow colour with a medium-sized white head. Malty nose. Malty, slightly sourish and grainy with some nice hoppy hints and a biscuity maltiness in the finish. Refreshing and quite all right for an alcohol free beer.

25cl Bottle from Aktiv Markt. Clear golden yellow, white head. Aroma of bready malts, piny hops. Flavour is very bready/malty, pine, grass, nice soft sweetness underneath with a good soft piny bitter finish. Medium bodied. I liked this one a lot.
