750ml Bottle - Golden with a small head. Yeast, lemon, banana and spice in the aroma. Sultanas, peach, banana, yeast and spice all feature in the taste. Not bad.

Poured from 330mL bottle. Hazy orangish brown with full off-white head. Aroma of molasses, bready malt, dark fruits - figs, plum. Light taste, a little flat. Caramel and sweet roasted malts. A little lacking on the finish.

En trevlig välbalanserad Biére De garde. Sticker inte ut men är i mitt tycke lagom söt, lagom besk med en trevlig eftersmak. Smörkola och frukt.

Znakomite pieknie pachnace piwo farmerskie, czerwonego ciemnego koloru, piekna i stabilna puszysta piana, smak przypominal dobre belgijskie podwojne klasztorne. Zapach fig, troche melasy i kory drzewnej. Smak troche slodki finisz wytrawny, lekko rozgrzewalo i mimo mocnego stezenia alkoholu nie czulo sie go. Polecam.

750 ml bottle purchased from the shop adjoining the Kasteelhof, Cassel, split with Leighton and Bruce in the semi comfort of J98 LLY on the drive to Kortrik. Lightly hazed golden blonde with a mahoooosive off white head. Nose is light caramel, grass, summer fruits, citrus, earthy. Taste comprises citurs, lemon rind, grass, spice, herbal notes, touch of toffee. Medium bodied with a dry finish. Ok stuff - not too exciting but drinkable.

Bouteille 750ml. 2010. Couleur or limpide, mousse blanc cassé laissant une belle dentelle. Arôme de pomme, poire?, levure, miel. Goût de miel, poire, levure, céréales, légère amertume. Carbonation moyenne-élevée, corps moyen-dense, liquoreuse. Une belle surprise, pour une bière de prêt de 4 ans trouvée dans un dépanneur, elle a très bien vieillie.

Clear blond with big thick head. Aroma is bready and oaky with some wood. Flavour has initial malty notes, later it becomes dryer from the wood. Inbetween there’s a little bit of green apple freshness and acidity.

Nice deep, rich brown/amber color, capped with airy thick head. Very malty in aroma and taste. Dry finish with hint of sourness. Nice.

Bottled, 0.75l. Clear pale gold color with large dense white head and fizzy lively carbonation. Aroma of spicy hops, yeast, fruits and malt. Taste start sweet malty, followed refreshing yeasty with floral undertones. Mouthfeel is spicy, alohol note quite present, while finish is moderately bitter. Medium body, thick texture and average carbonation in palate. Shared it with Gombi, but could easily drank whole bottle...
