Dark brown with a beige head. Dark fruits, light sugar, sweet caramel malts in the aroma and flavor. Decent, but forgettable.

(33cl bottle) Slightly hazy, slightly reddish amber colour with an off-white frothy head of medium size. Dusty and slightly sourish, faint fruity aroma with a slightly toasted and rather strong spicy note. Sourish flavour, surprisingly light bodied with a harsh carbonation. Moderate cherry character with lighter beery attributes; sourish and slightly tart and spicy finish. Sorry but this one is pretty unconvincing (28.V.09).

(33cl bottle) Hazy, golden colour with myriads of floaties and a medium-sized foamy white head. Sourish lemon-zesty and slightly sweet malty nose. Sourish and slightly sweet flavour, medium to full bodied with a calm carbonation. Soft malty and distinctively citrus-fruity taste (grapefruit), combined with oak-wood honey flavours; sourish and minimal bitter finish with a touch of medicinal flavours. Not that bad, just not my thing (23.V.09).

bottle, pours dark red, tall tan head. Sweet malt and spiced aroma. Roasted malt, a sour peach kind of flavor that turns bitter like chewing on a cinnamon stick. A moderate alcohol burn follows and lingers as it fades. Besides the alcohol burn, this is a fairly easy drinker, very similar to the bruine.

bottle, pours a deep red with a thin brown layer riding next to the foam, tall light tan head, laces well. Sweet and spicey aroma with all spice, nutmeg, and carmel malt, some yeast and a hint of alcohol. Creamy texture brings a slightly sweet doughy malt with some roasted notes. There is a definate strong spice going on, more of a hot cinnamon, but it’s felt more riding the alcohol in the finish. Solid.

bottle, pours hazy dirty blond with a tall frothy white head. Aroma of pears and a floral hop note. Sour apple and malt body with a light pepper and hop finish. Not at all bad.....I prefer the original blond.

bottle, pours hazy golden blond with a tall frothy white head. Floral hop, peppery spice and a lemon note in the aroma......smells great. Sweet malt, some sour orange and a yeasty/spicey finish that lingers for a while. Mouthfeel is smooth and wet in the finish. Nice blond.

bottle, pours light gold, thin white head. Metallic malt and floral hop aroma. Sour malt body that balances between lemon peel and hay with some almond notes. Ends with a light hop bitterness that lingers for a little while but keeps the mouth dry. Moderate in carbonation. Nice and simple beer.

bottle, pours hazy orange with a tall off white head, good lacing. Sour wild yeast aroma, mildly spicey with some cherry notes. Soft cherry syrup body that is also malty but not very sour at all. Only a mild sourness in the finish. Could be better.
