Courtesy of madmitch76. Pours dirty brown with thin white head. The aroma is whole cherries, dates, sugar sweet malts, sweet grapes and a sense of cinnamon. The taste is similar with dark fruitiness, sugar sweet slick malts and a bit of spiciness. I also get a dash of fruit skin tannin tartness to go along with the sweet fruity notes. Pretty tasty.

Deep, rich honey golden color with a huge head and obvious carbonation. Fruity, grapefruit, orange, pineapple. Spicy yeast. Very refreshing and inviting. Slightly biscuity pilsner malts stand out as well. Very fruity and sweet, but with a pronounced tartness too. Cherries, honey, lots of lemon, some pineapple. Very complex, though a bit too sweet. It is decently balanced, though, by sour flavors, alcohol, and a decently bitter finish. A big beer all around—could use a little more restraint. However, the huge sweet-and-sour flavor is quite original and interesting.

Very well-carbonated beer, completely cloudy, peach-coloured under an off-white discreet head, vanishing. Sourish, lactic nose, with some decaying malts, a sourish-wry fruitaroma. Very, wild cherries, chamomille, dry cookies and restsugars. Jumble of flavours, not unlike some Regenboog beers, and I cannot help suspecting a minor kind of infection. Light bodied, probably partly due to the acids, and generally very carbonated. Weird, weird. It’s certainly drinkable, but I wonder in a couple of months. AND - are there REALLY no cherries, here?

33cl bottle, labeled as "singing blonde" - I can’t remember the last time I smelled a beer and thought, "what the fuck?" - the aroma is like an odd mixture of spoiled apple cider, acetone, rotting fruit, honey, musk/sweat - it’s not as vile as I’m describing it, but it’s still not all that pleasant - the flavor is sour and sweaty, with notes of acetone, tart apples, pear skins, tangy wheat, flowers, herbs - ends tangy and spicy - not as bad as the aroma suggests - unique, but not exactly in a good way.

Bottle that I picked up from Dranken Geers, Oostakker, Belgium. Consumed at Campsite in Koksidje, Belgium 12-06-09. Pours hazy orange amber with slim off-white head. The aroma is undeniably fruity with a definate touch of sweet cherries and some yeast. Soft mouthfeel, cherries showing but not as sharp as I expected and it was quite nice to have a sweeter cherry beer, there may well be more than a nod of artificialness about this but I liked it so don’t really give a toss. I enjoyed this it was uncomplicated and drinkable. A7 A4 F8 P4 Ov15 3.8
