Description
SNAB Bierbrouwers is opgericht op 24 januari 1991. Onze missie is 'het promoten van de biercultuur in het algemeen en van alternatieve bieren in het bijzonder'. Onder alternatieve bieren verstaan wij bieren die met traditionele en nieuwe grondstoffen en methodes worden gebrouwen. Wij laten ons inspireren door zowel de Oude en Nieuwe Wereld. Wij volgen steeds onze eigen weg, onafhankelijk van marktverwachtingen. Dit resulteert in een markant palet SNAB bieren voor beginnende en gevorderde biergenieters, zowel nationaal en international.

Hazy brown with medium beige head. Sweet aroma with roasted maalt yeast and hints of coffee. Sweet flavour with ro asted malt, caramel and coffee notes. Sweet finish with warming alcohol.

Cloudy deep amber with medium beige head. Sweet aroma with hoppy and caramel notes. Hoppy flavour with toasted malt, caramel, piney and grapefruit nottes. I like.

Brown with medium beige head. Sweet aroma with roasted malt and caramel notes. Sweet fruity flavour with roasted malt, chocolate notes. Finished sweet.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Slightly hazy amber golden with an off-white head. Pleasant caramel aroma. Medium body with a heavy carbonation, notes of caramel and overripe fruit. Subdued bitterness. 141208

33 cL bottle. Pours hazy orange with a diminishing off-white head. Dry, yeasty and malty aroma. Sweet malty and vague herbal honey flavoured with a mild spice note showing through. Dry spiced and malty lasting finish.

Bottle at Arendsnest. Deep dark brown to black beer, beige head. Aroma of roasted malts, brown sugar. Flavour is sweet, roasted malts, a hint of chocolate and coffee. Medium bodied. More like a belgian strong ale. Expected more from SNAB.

On tap at In de Wildeman. Dark amber colour, off-white head. Aroma of speculaas, mostly cinnamon, some hops and caramel. Flavour is speculaas, caramel, malts, nice dry bitter spicy finish. Cinnamon lingers a bit. Nice.

33 cL bottle. Pours dark brown with a small off-white head. Spiced and roasted malty aroma. Roasted malty flavoured with a subdued bitterness. Mild hoppy and spice note just coming through. Ends malty and light bitter.

33 cL bottle. Pours hazy deep orange with no head. Wineous and mild spiced aroma. Mild spiced and solid hoppy flavoured. Solid bitter. Dark caramel malty flavoured into the finish. Bitter and dry finish, lingering flavourful hops finish.
