Cask at CP&K. It pours golden yellow, with a bubbly white head. The nose is dough, hay, floral, leaf, farmyard and sweet honey. The taste is straw, resin, hay, floral, grass, leaf, decent bitterness, dough and soap, with a long dry finish. Light-medium body and soft carbonation. A bit soapy, but still nice.

Cask at CP&K. It pours deep ruby-brown, with a bubbly off-white head. The nose is chocolate, roasted malt, charcoal, smoke and coffee. The taste is leather, roasted malt, nice bitterness, wood and charcoal, with a dry finish. Light-medium body and soft carbonation. A decent mild, if a little unexciting.

The taste is straw, resin, leaf, farmyard, leather, floral, raw hop, pear, melon and honeysuckle, with a bitter-dry finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. A flavoursome APA.

Cask at CP&K. It pours deep brown, with a thin beige head. The nose is coffee, roasted malt, chocolate, caramel, treacle and toast. The taste is roasted malt, chocolate, filter coffee, lactose, warming alcohol, charcoal, caramel, spice and brown sugar, with some bitterness in the finish. Light-medium body and soft carbonation. Decent, but a bit thin and more bitter than anticipated.

Keg at CP&K. It pours jet black, with a tan head. The nose is very boozy, whisky, smoke, oak, vanilla, dark fruit (fig and date), dark chocolate and mint. The taste is boozy, rich-roast coffee, roasted malt, smoke, whisky, charcoal, floral, hay, smoke, a hint of honey and liquorice, with a dry, boozy finish. Full body and fine carbonation, with an oily mouth-feel. This is a lot rougher than the other barrel-aged version due to more obvious alcohol presence. Flavoursome, but tough going.

Keg at CP&K. It pours jet black, with a thick, dark tan head. The nose is roasted malt, coffee, burnt tire, whisky, peat, smoke, sage and caramel. The taste is roasted malt, rich-roast coffee, whisky, smoke, dark fruit (cherry and blueberry), charcoal, meat, hint of vanilla, wood, alcohol warmth and salted liquorice, with a dry-roasted finish. Full body, full flavour, fine carbonation and oily mouth-feel. Tasty stuff indeed, for me this is easily the better of the two barrel-aged version of KopiKat.

330ml bottle. Pours black with a medium head. Aroma is coffee, grapefruit hops underneath. Taste has some roastiness and rye to start. Bitter, spicy finish. Low carbonation. Trying to be too many things.
